I haven't heard of that a problem since the early Blasts. To have it on a 07 with less than 5,000 miles is a fluke. You'll need three gaskets (someone please correct me if I'm wrong: rocker box - 16800-84A rocker cover outer - 17362-07A rocker cover inner - 17695-07A Should be $12-15 for all three depending on the dealer. You don't need to rejet if you drill the stock muffler. Not enough of a change to need it. |

anyone have a detailed walk through of changing rocker cover gaskets? i just purchased an 06 blast with 3300 miles. previous owner said it needed a head gasket but after reading all this info i think it may be rocker cover gasket as well. |

The repair manual gives the best account and all the information you'll need to maintain your Blast. We'll fill in the gaps and correct the errors! PT# 99492-06Y, just about any year manual will do as they all are virtually the same. From the dealer, or e-bay or perhaps any pace that sells Buell parts. You might even check the Badweb classifieds. |
