Any suggestions why it would idle hi and never come down. This all started after driving 40 miles in off pavement bumpy conditions. Runs normally off idle. |

Hi idle is symptom of richness/leanness and intake leaks - you do not just re-adjust the idle to "fix" it, that just hides the symptoms - with that said - the boot could just be loose, but rubber that old can just crack and should be replaced anyway. Rule that out first with a new boot, and other diagnosis will be closer to the mark. EZ |

OK. Anywhere on the board that has a step by step procedure on boot replacement. |

So changed it and it still had a hi idle when start up and it lasted for about a minute then went down to 1100 rpm. Whats the spec? |
