Looking for a valve spring compressor that will work with race pressure springs. The one I have barely worked with stock XB springs and another head I cant compress the springs at all. Will the Jims Valve Spring Compressor tool work with high pressure springs? Are there any others that will work well or better than the Jims? Thanks for any help, Erik |

I´m very satisfied with the Jims´tool. I´ve had no problems to compress the SE springs that came along with the SE 536 cam kit. Ralph

Thanks for the post. I ended up buying an old truck valve spring compressor of e-bay for $9! Works great. If it didnt I'd have bought the Jims. I just though I'd gamble $9 instead of $150! Good to know the Jims works. |

Just another option that works on our Buell valve springs and also automobile valve springs. Not quite as expensive as the Jim's but not as cheap as the $9 option. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/327 77/183106.html?1142834544 |

My first valve spring compressor looked much like yours, but was no match for anything above stock and was barely able to do stock XB springs. It obviously wasn't the same one as yours, but left me with much consternation about taking a chance buying anything that looked remotely like it. |
