I would say you could with the obvious of the middle seat removed. I fit my Honda CB350 in a '68 with the front wheel positioned between the front seats. | ||

You might take the mirrors & seat off first to make it easier. I know it sounds obvious but theres nothing worse than sweating & struggling, only to find that you're stuck halfway cos of stupid little thing like that. Also if you need to gain an inch of height you can partially deflate the tyres. The most important bit though is once it's in, MAKE SURE IT'S SECURE, if you have an accident you don't want a loose Buell flying round the inside with you. Have fun;  | ||

My '99 X1 fits in my 2004 Ford, the (removed) seat latches work great as tie downs. A tiedown goes through the front rim and hooks on the floor latches to hold it back...   | ||

I know that they fit in a Honda Element if that helps in figuring if it will fit in the VW. | ||

i know that an 89 kawi ex500 fits in a 76 buggy bus, i just helped my brother the other day perform this feat. i have a 99 cyclone and my bike is definitely taller that his but i think the wheel base is about the same, maybe you can do it if you take the mirrors off? | ||

I have a 2000 Windstar and had no idea the S1 would fit?!? I wonder how the wife would feel about taking that along on family outings. Now to figure out where to put the kids..........Strap them in to the floor too. | ||

"was wondering exactly what model Ford you have." 2004 Ford FreeStar (my 2002 WindStar actually fit better - the rear seat comes out, while the FreeStar folds into the floor and is slightly higher). I'm thinking of machining an axle to fit a wheelbarrow wheel to replace the front wheel, and then see if I can load and unload it myself. It may be too low across the sill, but it should turn real quick! | ||

Just found this thread. The Element will hold so much stuff you'll be amazed. I traded my 200K mile Suburban on one and haven't once missed that 50 gallon gas tank :-) Most things you load you don't even need to remove the rear seats -- they unlatch and hang on the sides. The one caveat/disclaimer is this (this really applies to Buellers) if you upgrade the driver's armrest to the storage/larger unit you may need to take it in and out as you load the Element, but it's a very easy thing to do. Built in aux jack for MP3/XM/Sirrius etc. Sweet little ride. | ||

BadS1, Mine's Vivid Black (I think Honda calls it black  .) I've found a few sites that have a very active users group too. I ordered some goodies, cold air kit, rear spoiler, and some internal goodies. I'm very happy with it overall and I hope to get some new rims picked out and the trailer hitch. Ton's of accessories. I'll find them sites when I go back to work Friday PM and send them to you. | ||
