Dammit! We totally forgot "The Dick Van Dyke Show". That was one of the smartest and funniest show for its time. Rob and Laura were actually seen in the bedroom wearing nightclothes. In separate beds.

Does anyone remember the Walnuts episode or the ROSEBUD episode? Rosebud was Ritchie's middle name in an homage to "Citizen Kane". What did ROSEBUD stand for? Answer in a posting some time in the future.

Thanks, Danger_dave!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

That was a movie, not a TV show. It came from Citizen Kane starring Orson Wells.

I vaguely remember that show from when I was very young. I didn't remember it was the "skipper" that played Casey Jones.

Gidget

Every time I hear the name Sally Field I think of a skinny little teenage girl running around the beach in a bikini. Now I see her on television selling medicine for osteoporosis. Boy does that make me feel old!

Rosebud was Ritchie's middle name because all the relatives were arguing about what his name should be. So Rob decided he would be named after all of them.

Robert
Oscar
Sam
Edward
Benjamin
Ulysses
David

With a hat tip to Citizen Kane.

Anyone said, "The Rockford Files" yet?

To my generation a "J-turn" is called a "Rockford."
