Brumbear.. I loved watching The Young Ones.
I had recorded every episode they ever played on MTV back in the day... and an old roomate recorded over them... almost killed me.

I can't see any of the pictures posted here at work... but do any of you remember Chico and the Man ?
I loved that show..

There is a spinoff from the young ones called bottom its even funnier than the young ones. The only one not in it is NIEL the hippy and the extras . Rick and Vivian are in it. And Mikeis in some of them they play different chareters but its still very funny.

Yes, I too loved the young ones. Favourite episode "boring" still gets quoted to this day.

"My Living Doll" with Julie Newmar playing a robot. Mmmmm. Meow.

"I'm Dickens, He's Fenster". (With John Astin pre-Addams Family).

Why isn't "Car54 Where Are You" playing on TV Land? Officers Toody and Muldoon were great. Al Lewis played Schnauzer.

Phil Silvers Show.

Topper! (with George and Marion Kirby, the ghostests with the mostest)!

TV really was better then than now.

I mean, today can't top Dash Riprock or Agent Double-Ought Seven on the Beverly Hillbillies.

Holy cr*p. We forgot "Petticoat Junction" (the b/w ones with Uncle Joe)!

Or "My Three Sons" (the b/w ones of course)

Or "The Ozzie and Harriet Show" (with Ricky, not Rick Nelson).

Or "The Gale Storm Show".

Dammit, someone stop me!

Reindog: "My Living Doll."

OH YEAH!

She paved the way for Yancy Butler's "Eve" in "Mann & Machine"

Sonny Fox on Wonderama.
The Chuck McCann Show.
Anyone remember Diver Dan or was that local to NYC?

Going down that riff would be:
Captain Jack McCarthy.
Officer Joe Bolton.

I was on Bozo in Birmingham, AL when I was 5 and sat crying in the front row with the cameras rolling. Nothing much has changed : )

"Let's Have Fun," the Saturday complement to Sunday's "Wonderama."

Anyone remember "Romper Room?" "Captain Kangaroo?"

Who was better? Chuck McCann or Sonny Fox? McCann used to read the Sunday funnies by dressing up as the characters. He had blank white circles for eyes while doing Little Orphan Annie.

I kinda sorta remember "Let's Have Fun".

Howzabout:
Man and the Challenge.
Man in Space.
Rocky Jones.
Twilight Zone (did this one slip through?).
Chiller Theater. (Remember Zacherley's wife was a blob of jelly?)
Supercar (with Mike Mercury)!
Land of the Giants.

This was burrowing through my brain like those things from Star Trek 2 until I finally remembered it:

"Way Out"!

http://www.imagesjournal.com/issue08/features/wayo ut/

Only 14 episodes and hosted by Roald Dahl.

Anyone remember John McGiver turning his wife into a frog? Or was it vice-versa? That one shook me up because I didn't want to be turned into a frog at the time.
