I wore a strip down the center of the tire, can't believe I was riding on that slick for saturdays hh run. As for political input: Go Ron Paul!!

Just mounted slicks yesterday for Inside Pass today. Motor is sweet.

Need to use the day to setup the bike before November's races!

Now it's out to the garage, gear up, and wake up Sunny after I get her bike prepped and ready - Wooo HOO, Inside Pass!!

I ended up not changing the countershaft sprocket on the KLX, so I just went out and rode it around some local dirt playgrounds anyway. I think I'm going to need a friend with an impact wrench to get the sprocket off. I don't know why they have it on there so solidly - the chain holds the sprocket on, so it's not like they couldn't have used a clip instead of a nut and lock washer...

Anyway, I didn't take pictures, but it was a good day, and better than sitting around talking politics all day.

Great ride up in the Southern Kettle today -- the colors are past their height, which means the the leaf-peepers were NOT cloggin up the roads --

Back to the Entropy Lab in the evening, and got the third of four fenders off the 31 Ford -- bad news is, I now gotta replace, wait for it, at least three fenders outa four.

The GOOD news is that they are readily available ;-}

You have NO IDEA how hard it is to keep the RPMs down to 5000 when breaking in a new motor on a track where you can hit 150 in turn 8 and not even slide the tires.

Dang... but it WAS fun!
