NIXON is still racing?
Holy Sh1T!
that's cool- he was, honestly, one of my idols growing up.
I had no idea he was still at it.

I wish I still had some of my old Trackmasters around.

I actually flat-tracked a Rickmann with a Zundapp 'sunrise' mill, I loved that frame for the ovals.

The best way to make sure it doesn't rain....... spend $300.00 bucks on rain tires!

I ended up in 6th place outta 10
my best lap time was 1 min. 23 sec.
I had a GREAT time. A lot of the family showed up to watch and Gene (Usuly) was there to cheer me on.
I've got a ton of stuff I need to work on.
CORNER SPEED! is the main thing. I don't stand a chance in the straights against 600cc in-line 4s
(tipping the scales at 214 + or - doesn't help)

Thanks for all the tips on rain riding... all your help may have kept the clouds away.

Congrats on finishing... and if I could pay $300 to keep it from raining, I sure would!

(Tramp, I gotta post the pics but Nixon, Springsteen and Filice are racing the Kawi 650 in MotoST.

Last couple seasons Nixon and Springsteen were racing AHRMA in the Triumph Thruxton Challenge.

Good job Mark. When the rain hits, you'll be glad you have the rains. And I do know what I'm talking about Jramsey. I race.

Way to go Mark!
You and Mike(Shred) have made me envious.
Maybe one day I'll be able to race.
Maybe there will be an Over the Hill class by the time I'm able.
My youngest will graduate in 4 years, then I'll feel a lot better about spending the $ on such a thing as racing.
GO MARK!

CCS in the Mid West calls it the Formula 40 class. Has a nice sound to it.

I spent alllll day doing the timing belt which ended up as a valve cover gasket, valve adjustment, tuneup, brake job, etc. She needs to learn to tell me when things start acting funny. Gorgeous weather though!
