I just heard a little rumbling about the 1125CR. That's all though. Obviously I can't be trusted with all of the info but was told to "watch out for a new rotax CR". All this teasing is oh so cruel.

Maybe I can squeeze a bit more info out of that little feathered bastard.

I'll keep you all posted. Of course I wouldn't share anything that would get someone in trouble.

Shook up my fine feathered friend and he swore he knew nothing other than July 2008. That's right. That is two months to go. Anyone else with any little snippets to share?

I'm betting(hoping) naked/cafe racer styling. If that is the case, I will sadly have to trade in my XB.

Well, I don't think it's any secret that there will be other 1125R variants on the market vary soon.

I think any version that might come along sans the current fairing may earn my money.

Thats the new Green version of the 1125R, assembled completely from aluminum made from recycled beer cans.

It stands for: 1125 - Cans - Recycled.

Well, I am just guessing here but history tends to repeat itself, in the beginning of the XB series we had the R and the S. Now we have the 1125"R" so something tells me there will be an "S" next.

My guess is C would be City R=rotax/race. That would follow along the lines of the City X

But of course this is all guesswork. I really have no clue.

And here I have been thinking that the 1125 was engine displacement

Brian...

Buy this bike (my neighbors, a good deal)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ewItem&sspagename=ADME%3AL%3ALCA%3AUS%3A12&viewite m=&item=270233945030

And I will trailer it up to Franklin NC at the end of May. From there, Gentleman Jim will ride it for the weekend (the Big Jim Memorial ride) the ride it back to Seattle when he is done.

I'm serious. (If Mr. Jim will take the bait... : ) )

ah, the problem with the 6-fiddies is that my legs dont go all the way down. I have started the MUELL project (follow it up in Rooster and Thumper as it develops)
Based on a 1986 XR250 (100 craigslist bike)
The Blast body parts & XB12Stt fender and number plates (120)
And the labor to swap all the body parts and controls out to the E troy equipment... I want her on the road by July 4. <and>

I'm just hoping for a naked bike of some sort... a real "hot-rod" 1125 would be cool, something in the spirit of a White Lightning would rock

CR=Cafe Racer!!!!!!!

Controlled Release.

Instead of inducing uncontrollable sharting, it induces a slow seeping.

Quit toying with me guys... selling aluminum cans, kidneys and liver chucks to buy one! Hoping for a full blown competition ready racer.

i'm not to worried, i am fairly sure anything that comes out can be somewhat easily adapted to my 08. bring on the speed parts!!!!

you know i have been looking at body kits and the like for my 1125, but that would be completely against the way i seem to do things. everytime i look at them i go back and look at my bike and try and figure out how to chop more stuff off instead

So what does a 1125R look like with its clothes off? I've been listening to Skyclad lately.
