Kind of along the lines of what you would see over at ADVRider. I snapped this pick last weekend before the snow hit Texas.

Anyone else have any Lonesome Highway pics?

If this thread is in the wrong place please let me know and I will move it.

Igneroid,
Although I love listening to KWS, I was going for more of the "lets see what other cool Lonesome Highway pics" the badwebbers have laying around.

I share my time between ADVrider and Badweb and the other site is always doing picture threads. I thought I would try to get one going here.

Barker, You've got mail...

So how bout it? Anyone else have any cool "lonesome highway pics"?

Yatahey, New Mexico. Highway 666 was redesignated as 491 in 2003 because a bunch of wussies wrote letters to some idiot liberal congressmen. This legendary stretch of Highway runs from Gallup, NM to Cortez, CO.

Beautiful, rolling hills and lots of nothing at all. It's the backdrop for the movie, Natural Born Killers.

Either up near Al-Taqqadum or down near Basra. I really don't remember. Sure is a lonely highway though. Bill

It's not too lonely. you can see a car in the far right.

It's from Tantalus Rd in Oahu:

U4euh,
I like that picture a lot. It reminds me of a my grandfather. He started and finished his working career with Sante Fe RR.

Oldog,
In your first post, the third picture is fantastic (albeit not a highway pic)

your second post is excellent too....

I could really make those pictures pOp in Photoshop.
