All the whining and complaining on this board is really getting to be quite funny.

Every year since I have been on here, about this time everyone starts to argue and fight over some of the most trivial things.

Like the title says

GO FRIGGIN' RIDE!!!

GO FRIGGIN' RIDE!!!

You must be nuts!! How can I go ride when I don't know when the 1125R will ship?

Or if Abe is blowing smoke about the RSS...

you must be crazy!!

Well just so you know some of us, OK maybe just me, are under Doctor's orders NOT to ride for another 3 months!!!

I tore my biceps distal tendon from the forearm bone in July. I've just been OK'ed to lifting 30 lbs with that arm. I also still have trouble typing. It's amazing how much the biceps muscle does for you.

Now having said that I am right now looking for all my 'lectrics so I can go riding. I put my first 14 miles (since July) on my bike last week. Please don't rat me out to my Doctor.

The day I got my neck brace off I was at the dealer test riding!!

I also dont want to hear any, well its too cold out there to ride crap either.

I rode to work today. Not too cold and traffic was really light...

XBDuck... Go get an Xbox360 and get the new Moto GP game or Forza Motorsports 2. I haven't purchased Moto GP, but turn on Forza with surround sound and make sure your sound stage is setup nicely... Pick the Ford GT, select the interior view and just listen to the blower scream when you get close to redline

Tell me about it... I work with alot of repair shops in Alaska. You want weird? Talk to one of them in January.

I hate winter, and all things cold.
I like my weather like I like my woman...HOT.

I'm with you on this one Charlie.
This is the time of year custodians hate.
Cold weather tends to get the troll out of people.
I realize that winter sucks, and not everyone can or wants to live in the lovely South East, but it sure would be nice not to have to deal with all the bickering, belly aching, and bitching that seems to go with winter.

If you can't go out and ride, please...please find something better to do than muddy up the BadWeB with negativity.

No snow here so I ride when I can, but when it gets under 40F I tend not to due to the wind chill getting to be a bit to much for my Florida blood.

On the bright side, there's a thread in the Big, Bad, and Dirty forum about how much easier Uly's wheelie in cold weather.

They sure do!

I am getting My Xbox360 back this weekend, been down for over a year, putting in a new drive and flashing it so I can burn games. Sorry but $60 for a video game is stupid.

Been keeping busy with GT4 and Tourist Trophy when the boy aint screaming. I have found he loves the racing on the tube, usually keeps him quiet for an hour or so.

One of my pals gave me $100 one time to ride his bike home for him in the snow!! It was only 10 miles to his place and I did not own a helmet so my face was covered in icicles when I got there!

Like what Cataract2 said, I ride when I can during the winter but like clear roads and temps. around 40. I suit up for it and do a nice 40-50 mph twisty run close to my house. Keeps me and the bike tuned up for the more vigorous rides to come. Especially this coming year with the new, yet to arrive, 1125R. Hard to wait, so I'm "in the wind" as much as I can be. Bob

I rode my M2 to work today, and yesterday too. The only thing yesterday that got cold was the underside of my chin, today I found my neck scarf and had that covered.
I was as comfortable as riding in a car, very, very nice ride.
About 40° I think. Need some of that anti-fog stuff though.

"my friend called me at work on wednesday and asked me if i regretted taking the bike to work that day."

Heh... I was halfway to work on a cold, wet, misty Monday, and noticed that all the people in their cars looked miserable. Then it dawned me that if I had to take the bike to work in weather like that instead of choosing to take the bike to work, I'd have probably been miserable too.

But... I wasn't.

Suckers...

Never, I would have but the consequences for crashing were paralyzation, I did not want to risk that,

Now after a crash on the quad, I was back riding with all the staples in my leg the next day!!

I'm trying to justify spending around $1000 for both me and my hubby for "lectrics" so we can continue to ride ALL WINTER LONG. It will be spring soon.......

Just got a new rear tire so it needs to be run.

I got the $30 heated vest posted in a different thread, and I plan on riding all winter as long as it's dry.

Tomorrow's supposed to be 50, and I've got most of the day off! I'll be roaming around the hills of eastern Ohio.
