I didn't know if it was too early to start a thread about Homecoming 2007, but here it is. Usually something starts in Storm Fronts about where every one is staying.

I was just putting this out it would be cool to get as many badwebbers in to the same hotel as possible. Daves usually had some good in put on this but with light of the latest events I don't know if any one was going to jump on this ball.

Does any one have hotel reservations yet? Is every one still going to stay near appleton?

they are going to announce it already?
and they wonder why attendance isn't what it should be.
They should be announcing when the 2008 is going to be not the one that is only 5 months away
some need to plan ahead

Much closer to four months. At least it will give a fighting chance to those who need to give 90 days advance notice for vacation approval. (Not me.)
It seems to include the last week of May/first week of June, usually...

I can't wait. I've already scoped out a hotel... Just waiting to see if Buell recommends a certain place or two and if there is going to be any organization on this end...

Well, I'm hoping/planning to attend this year's homecoming...first time for me, so have absolutely NO IDEA of where to stay etc....I'll be intently watching the forthcoming posts for hints and suggestions. Hopefully there will be some kind of BadWEB "gathering"...

I agree with Dave, I know I sure could use some earlier planning on these events. I have to pick all my time off for the comming year in December prior to the beginning of that year. The Harley people seem to be on top of things when it comes to planning bigger events, why is it so different for Buell?
I really hope to go, it is always one of the high points of spring/summer.
Tell all your friends both the Buell riders and non-Buell riders what a great time it really is.

I just thought I should clairafy, I only bid for vacation every 6 months. I am pretty low in seniority so I don't know if next shift bid will alow me the time off, especially being the weekend following the 4th.

Sweet! I'll be there racing that weekend. Hopefully on a new Buell. There is a rather large group of people right here from Wisconsin that race Buells.
Although the AMA weekend was always nice, I think it will be more fun for people at the CCS/ASRA/MOTO ST weekend. More Buells (LOTS more). You'll be able to get up close and personal with all the riders. Hell, you can probably lend a hand to most of us!
I'll be willing to bet that you'll have a better time. Hell. Hotels will be easier to come by and the rates won't be jacked up either!
The racing is second to none with a ton of different bikes, classes and talents. You will not be disappointed.

Thurs. July 5th happens to be a Harley/Buell (Drag Race) Shootout. Maybe this would be a good night to have a Homecoming Shootout That Night! Scotty I hope you see this.

I'm really STOKED!!

Ever since the CCS schedule was released, I'd planned to race at Road America that weekend. Since I've attended several of the Homecomings, this works out great as far as I'm concerned! How cool will it be to race in front of the Buell faithful!!

Please, just keep cheering for the guys in the back of the pack!!
