Ok today I rerouted the throttle cables, mounted the trail tech vapor, and fired it up and let it run for a while. Man I for got how good it sounds.

I have a corbin and a stock S1 seat. I actually find the stock seat more comfortable. The front edges on the corbin are a little too square and dig into my legs, and the seat is too long for how slippery it is. Every time I leave a stop sign I'm fighting to keep myself from sliding backwards. The stock seat holds my butt in place perfectly. The corbin looks way better though.

Overall i don't find the seat bad, I just noticed yours looks like the foam was trimmed, so it might feel even less appealing. I rode bicycles forever though, so I've never sat on a motorcycle with a seat too hard or clipons too low.

Does anyone have the wiring diagram for the harness going into the gauge cluster? I'm changing in to the trail tech vapor. And was wondering?

So maybe someone else can make a scan from the complete sheet out the manual and post it also here!

Just putting this out there how are you insalling and torqueing things correctly without the manual?

I print the manual page as a 6 or 8 page poster it enlarges it without distortion. Then I redneck laminate it ( 3" clear tape) front and back. That way I can draw on it and wipe it off with dry erase markers.
I keep one in the shop for each bike.

Torque is largely dependent on bolt size. You can get close without having a manual. Besides, exact torque is only important on specific fasteners, heads bolts/nuts, brake rotors, etc. Blue Loctite and a bit of experience wrenching does the rest. YMMV.

It does go by size but also threads, materials etc. Many items on these bikes torque is very important like triple trees wheels motor mounts tie bars. Not one for arguing but I can promise my torque wrench gets closer than anyones guess or experience.

There's no doubt about that, but the only things I've ever torqued on my bike are the rotor bolts, rock box bolts, and the crank nut. It hasn't fallen apart yet : )

All of the stuff that needs to be torqued still needs to be done. I do have a photo on my phone of all the tq specs. It seems that the Tq wrench I have/had went missing in my most recent move.

Well the temporary sticker job is looking awesome. I might just keep it lol. My plan is to eventually get the carbon fiber tail section and manta tank with carbon cover so the sticker bomb is just for now. Still need to do the tank. All of the stickers are Hot rod stuff. What do y'all think?

Better use than what I did with my stickers - all over my tool box. You should do the tank too.

I still really like that tank. The scribbled lines, and flaked of matte black paint just works well on that bike haha. The tail looks good. I used to have a helmet that was all covered in stickers like that.

What's your plan for covering the seat? Plain black, or do you have something else in mind?

I'm gonna be dropping the seat off this weekend to get it done in a carbon fiber vinyl. I'm thinking it's gonna look badass and it will really stand out. I noticed that mainly it's these tuner kids doing the stickerbombing with those stupid looking graffiti stickers. That's why I went with all hot rod/racecar stuff.

This is my seat idea.

Then this is where I got the sticker idea.

If you load the tank up with stickers, I hope they don't bubble up on you. Not that you are going for a pristine look, but these tanks are porous enough to allow vapor through and stickers will most likely look like shit very quickly.

All things considered, that tail section looks pretty good. I like it.

Since they're just stickers and not clearcoated over, I'd think that if they bubble up all you'll need to do is poke them with a pin in the middle of the bubble and flatten them back out. I used to have to do that to the factory stickers on my old yz426.

I'm not really to worried about them bubbling as this is temp until I can afford a manta tank and cover.
