Wow, great job on the gray S1! It looks a lot better than when it left my garage.

Graeme, The primary and trans cases are chromed. Did it to both bikes. I like shiney, it makes the bikes faster.

34 nineteen, the stand is from Centerstand. I think they went out of business a few years ago. Their phone number is 1-888-bike jak.Sorry, I hadn't been back to the shop to take a look until today.

Thanks for all the compliments on the bikes. Maybe I'll get a chance to ride one this summer.

Thanks for the info!

The bike is rad!!!

(I'm thinking about going to look at a yellow Blast today). I don't think I'll get the same positive response. Lol!!!

Spent the first day of spring break installing an eBay sourced Givi fairing. It didn't come with any brackets, so I had to get creative with aluminum bar stock. Measure, cut, drill, bend, check, and repeat... Hope this helps improve highway comfort.

Finished modifying std M2 to M2L with low front forks, rear shock, seat & kick stand. Also, painted black (was lime green), added backyard sputtem catch can, and added Uly mirrors. Then loaded up for camping and first ride in North Georgia mountains around Suches this past weekend... still smiling

Are you keeping the m2 forks/shock/kickstand? My M2L would suit me better at standard height.

Nitro,
I was intending to hold on to them but would consider passing them on to a Bueller in need [and maybe opening up a set of M2L bits for another stubby Bueller like myself]. I'll PM you with some pics and other info in a day or so.

Bd3 that is quite a load, travel much?
What's the E.B.O.C. catch bottle, home-made? Never seen one like that.

JV - Nope, 1st motorcycle camping trip was this past weekend. But, I intend to make it a habit. The bike handles fine with the load but had to adjust the suspension preload. I am researching side cases... The hi-tech catch can is a $4 Harbor Freight air filter for an air compressor with a $9 Autozone valve-cover-breather that works much better than the previous, under-tail tube that sputtem'd all under my seat and on the back fender.

Bd3, very clean!!
I love my M2 i can ride it all day & feel comfortable !
But mine was looking very well ridden the silver coating on front fork slides has all chipped off from riding Australian roads. so i too forks off stripped back to alloy base & have polished front brake needs new pads. will check with friend in Sydney as he raced Buells in formula extreme back in early 2000's thats road racing, on race tracks similar to normal roads. also will get some stock Buell polished wheels off him. might polish swing arm but that will be it then will pull motor down check it all out as have been runing it at very high cranking pressure but have done almost 20,000 on it with cranking pressure high. so needs a good check out might put new pistons also want to do gear box make it shift quicker under power.

Busy day with the tubers today.

Rebuilt the front caliper on the S2. The previous owner had taken it apart but forgot to reinstall the small o-rings between the calipers.

Fixed the front front headlight on the S2. Once again, the previous owner had done something an broke the adjuster tabs. A quick trip to Napa Auto and it's as good as new.

Picked up the S3T from storage.

Changed the oil in the S3T and S2.

About the only thing I didn't do was get in a ride longer than just around the block. But I should be ready to ride for the rest of the season!

Split the cases on the S2 today and pressed the flywheel out of the case half, the last step before starting the rebuild

After owning it for 2 months, I finally got the title switched over and got my plate registered. A bit closer to finally being on the road.

Re-set the bearing preload on the new swingarm. Also changed from the low-rise handlebars to the mid-rise (but not the touring) handlebars.

Recently changed some things on my very first Buell. It's a 97 S3T, showed up like this:

After some bits and pieces arrived, I dug in this weekend and made this abomination happen:

Curious is BWB, and thus experienced Buellers, feel I went too far...

Don't worry, it's headed in for new gray paint in a few weeks; can't live with the skulls.

Well Jake, it's your bike, if you like it, nothing else matters.
I happen to really like it, then again, I've modified my S3 too.
Make sure you post up after the paint job, I think it will look great.
Ride safe.
