I have seen that photo a hundred times, but I never noticed the european plate on the car. I guess I assumed this bike was 100% American redneck. |

I always liked the "color of speed" and the "yes she can" builds. They make my top 5. Ken, I like how yours is turning out as well, really great attention to detail. |

I've been eyeing that last bike (and others that are similar) as a reference for my Sportster rebuild. The SO keeps reminding me she has to have a place to sit... |

You have to look at it close and other pics help but it is under the rear if the tank and seat. Look at the tank it is not a stock S1 tank. Def not a hot weather bike |

One common factor in most of them for me is the free space at the seat to rear tire. No not the uplift jap bike thing these are lifted a little shotened to make the rear wheel just sit out . Something appeals to my eye. But mostly I like the talent of the builders. |

Thanks for the photos Ken. Purponie's bike is a joy to look at. The attention to detail is second to none. |

We were just talking about what to do with unused passenger peg tabs, that's a good one, put little spool/bumpers over them! Wow, inspired already... (Message edited by jayvee on February 13, 2016) |

Here is my work in progress that a place by me is doing Framecrafters, Inc.
. The top right is the current progress shot. The bottom right was my sorry attempt at building a better seat section. |

Very nice. Is that my old frame? Love Frame Crafters work never realized they were that close! Is it all Aluminum? So where is the oil tank to be located I see the electronics in the rear of the seat. Do you have more pics You need to put up a build thread with pics on this!!!! |

Ken, The oil tank is below the seat. While the new tank is a smaller profile, it holds 3 gallons as a result of a sump. I never really put up a tread because its not me doing the work. Your frame is in safe keeping in storage. I have so many parts that I'm thinking of putting together another stock tuber. All the body work is aluminum by Framecrafters. |
