Jefc73 - 2 (couple extra for stragglers) Damnut - 1 Blackm2 - 1 BrentX1 - 1 Oopezoo - 1 Johnod - 1 Pending fitting S2 NewmanS3 - 1 Roderick - 1 Ebutch -1 Red93stang -1 Charlies s1 -1 Brother in buells -1 Kmbuell -1 Cecil1 - 1 Dhdjr - 1 I dropped myself down to 1 brace as my S3T doesn't need one. I was under the impression that they were for all tubers. Sorry if it screws things up. Maybe I'll use the extra cash to get one of Jolly's pieces. |

Vibrating and flexing are not the same thing. The mount only sees a load when the frame and engine are trying to do opposite things in the horizontal plane. This doesn't happen on a dino, only when cornering. |

I don't currently need one, and cant "IMAGINE" needing one in the future as I really am done rescuing Buells.....especially since I already own a 6 pack however, if it comes down to needing to sell one more to make the group buy work...let me know.... |

We will be good Dave. Just would like to get 20 but don't need to. If anyone knows anyone that might want one, we need to notify people cause after this it may be awhile till another order is made. |

Hootowl seems like yesterday what the Racist complained about The Goosyness.( meaing Buell S2 race drivers saying there is a gooseness in feel of S2 when raceing and frame brace solved that I think) (Message edited by ebutch on January 15, 2016) |

When accelerating during the dyno runs, the engine/swingarm half of the bike would initially push against the front half and flex the "v-bracket" forward. I'm not sure what was taking place but I suspect the travel was exceeding the limits of the front tie bar. Sometimes it would create a momentary low frequency shudder where the v-bracket would wag back and forth. I've seen the phenomenon on other models as well but not all the time. I'd imagine that how the bike is strapped down may (or may not?) influence what takes place. |

Unless the isolators were torn, I don't see how that's possible. Vibration isn't flexing. The frame is moving, so the v moves. A tie bar would move right along with it. |

Isolators weren't torn or failed - no other issues. Regardless of the cause, I felt it had the ability to move way too much - which is why I installed the brace. |

Ok got at least 16 maybe 17. Will call the machinist today and get on the schedule. May be two to three weeks till he makes the run. I need a for sure commitment before he does the run. If not doing it then I need to know. I will price out the hardware etc and let everyone know the final cost. |

Hi I would be interested in 1 or 2 but it depends mainly on the final price. As I Live in Germany Ill have to add shipping and tax+duty which makes everything a lot more expensive these days, but if the price is right im in. Thanks |

The price is gonna be $125 or $130 and that's including shipping in the U.S. Yours would be more because of the shipping. |

Please advise when you are ready for payment Jeff. I have no problem tossing in a few extra bucks for gas, time, etc., if that isn't already figured into the final cost. |

Ok the machinist has me on his schedule. Should be within the next two weeks. Cost will be $130 shipped within the U.S. Can send paypal as friends or add the fee to it. My paypal is jefc73@hotmail.com I will update everyone as things progress. Will ship everything out USPS priority. Looks like we have at least 15 which is good. Anyone else still has time. The machinist will call me the day before he makes the run to get the final tally. (Message edited by jefc73 on January 26, 2016) (Message edited by jefc73 on January 26, 2016) |

Everyone please read the directions above for payment. If your not comfortable sending the money as friends then you need to add the paypal fee. The total is $130, more if paying paypals fee. |
