Fuzzz look's good!!
also good to see someone who rides. what class do you race in?
I had a shovel 98" andrews M grind s&s D carb was kick start only road everywhere ran 11.65 114mph 1/4 mile just stock shovel frame road to track road home.
then got a dyna twinkly carb 95inch ran low 11's best trap speed 121mph stock frame stock swing arm road to track sometimes trck was 1,100kilometers away & road home cv51 carb few tricks & used rickets needle in the screaming eagle runners kit was running perfect had heads off to check.

now M2 buell CV44 carb D&D pipe andrews N6 cam's (same timing as S&S cam ) dyna 2000 adjustable ignition so i could retard timing a bit
no track time yet but took it to track stock 12.5 113mph but harder to do quick 60 ft than the lower bikes
also i'm in Australia

Lakes, The local drag strip only has a motorcycle class, bracket racing, so ET isn't as important as consistency, but I'm hoping for high 11's. It's a mostly stock motor, with mild Andrews cams, Wiseco pistons and a few tuning tips from Henry Duga (R.I.P.) After two tanks of fuell this week so far, I'm getting acquainted with this bike, and I have noticed, the faster I ride, the better the bike is, so there may be a track day or two in my future besides drag racing it.

fuzz that sounds good, all my racing has always been bracket racing. i love it! thats the hardest too. we used to have screaming eagle Harley class for years then harley or the dealers? stopped sponsoring so, that class ended now just all street bikes, slower than 10 flat. or modified bike 11.99 or quicker as quick as you like but its bracket so dial your own time. three qualifying then elimination . but have pro stock bikes & Top Bike both heads up.

Been, working on the RR now for several months. Lots of new parts: cams, valves intake manifolds and new body work. Everything has just taken more time then it should! Purchased the LSR body work and it was no where close to fitting my RR, so back to basic RR 1000 body work. Just got done painting the body work, but I am waiting on my shock from Works Performance before I but the body work on. Mailed it to them on 7-31-15! and was told it will be 2-3 weeks. Still not here! I was hoping to run the bike last September with the ECTA. Oh well next year. I see someone set a new record of 134 plus, up from 118 mph. I still think the bike should go high 140's and hopefully in the low 150 mph. Well enough for now,Brian
New body and paint.

Replaced leaking push rod seals on the X1W.
Whenever I get to the point where I'm ready to totally jump ship to Triumph I just go for a ride on that bike and I'm in love again.

The shock is in for a rebuild and has been gone, for months. The motor is the same motor, that was in the HD XR 1000, in 1983 and 1984. This motor is in all RR 1000. Interesting note on this motor, is that these engine cases, are in fact 1985 cases. The motor came from and 1984 XR 1000. The bike was in a bad rain storm and went threw a deep puddle of water. The motor inhaled and thus bend the rods, from the water in the cylinders. I was told that the bike (XR 1000) was going to be improved, if produced in '85. Apparently the motor was just replaced with the newly updated motor (1985 design) with stronger cases. I know of another motor which was warrantied, the same way. Also thanks to all, for the nice comments, Brian.
