They have the same tab spacing (90mm) and what appears to be the same pitch as the Buell calipers... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Triumph-Sprint-ST-1050-200 6-ABS-Front-Brake-Caliper-Calipers-/291162062900?p t=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item43ca9c803 4 |

So you can have dual front brakes. I think a second rotor was never the problem finding the second caliper was. I think there was a kit from Buell for a second brake assy but it is rare. |

Unless you're racing, I doubt the trade-off would be worth it. To reiterate the logic behind a single brake on our bikes: Single rotor and caliper = lighter wheel assembly. The lighter wheel assembly is better able to track bumps and irregularities in the road. That equals better braking in real world situations. Double rotor and caliper = heavier wheel assembly. In a race situation, you are using the brakes over and over and over, very hard, in rapid succession. You need more braking capacity and more brake mass (rotors and calipers) to dissipate all that heat. On a smooth race track, the greater braking ability is more able to be used because the suspension doesn't have as hard of a time maintaining traction. So in the real world, the additional weight of another caliper and rotor could effectively decrease your braking performance.} |

i noticed a company makes a larger front axle shaft to help some flexing from the large single disc. seems dual discs would solve that but then your throwing more time and money at it |
