If there's a bind, it should shake itself into a comfortable position, and then I tighten from the heads down. If you tighten it up and there's a bind, you'll end up breaking a stud or the front clamp.   Ratbuell Posted on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 - 10:56 pm:        Follow exhaust flow. Heads first. Wiggle the rest of the system to 'settle' it all. collector bracket. wiggle. front muffler clamp. wiggle. etc.
