After a year on the sidelines the X1 is back and in her original colors (she was Molten Orange/Nuke Blue for a long time)

just in time for winter! Now to find the old white wind screen

Just wanted to let everyone know, she's done and she works! It is great to be back on a Buell.

I have 35 miles on the "new" top end (1250 stage II kit, updated oil pump gear, ......)

The only downside is the fork seal let go on the left side, so here's a little more to do.

Also I put an integrated LED turnsignal/stop light which works nice. The interesting part is a local shop failed me on inspection because it. This is NY, anyone else have this experience?

Another funny thing is I lost a fair amount of weight recently (~35 lbs) which brings me around 185. I couldn't believe how stiff the rear end was when I finally got back on the bike. It took awhile of head scratching to remember what "mod" caused that : )
