On, In, Around and Down Under the INFORMATION HIGHWAY BADWEB Rules!!!!!!

Ahoy There!!
As long as a Crash is kept out of the equation, avoided, they can occur. KNOCK ON WOOD. Uhhh, while performing preventive maintenance on Buell's. W/DDFI Calibration(s). Using This Version of ECMSpy 1.12.27-English. Proper use of the tool may lead to more bigger and better issues, as the "ECMSpy" presents. The instructions, to me that is,, got to the point of, shoot first ask questions later, type issues. RE: translation of the attached, would help. It's a no brainer to a lot of yall's out there, this tool comes in different way's. Basically, the "ECMConfig" page and the box(s)on the bottom of the "maps", and "other maps" pages to be exact. I've attached/tried to attach with this(+++ attachment +++ 654362 +++ Translate +++), the illustrations on the page(s), explaining "BUTTONS", I call them "check box(s)".

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
on the Kennfelder Page 1 of 7,German Version.
Buttons
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

GOSH, out in left field with out a mit! The English Copy appears to have these "check boxes"/'BUTTONS', lacking details.

While waiting for that coffee at the cafe or something, would you be kind enough to break this down.
Doing TWEAKS & tune-ups with the "ECMSpy Tool" at the moment, is my goal, at this time checking and unchecking these boxes in question just ain't doing it, U Know?? I'm hooked up without the tranlslation. IDK Just a Late Bloomer. The buell is running(accoding to the color on the Plugs) lean. In parade type conditions, my thigh sensor will confirm the signs.
?Pepper up the fuel mixture?. We see the color chocolate all over the beginning of the baffle when re-packing the exhaust chamber, notta on Iridium Plugs...though this would be nice with the color here. Relating to this "Post"... Is the Chocolate Color Spark Plug the thing of the past? To monitor, trying to monitor the fuel mixture. Please clarify if you will....

-Old School Riding a Buell. -WOT on a Desolate Road

Note: The Bike Is Tight. Stock ECM's. This is the name of my Diagnostic TUNE-UP FILE "C:\...\S3 Race Timing Front Rear.msq]" writeDate="2011-10-05T18:00:09" /><versionInfo fileFormat="4" nPages="2" signature="BUEKA210 01-21-00" />.
-END-

4 yall's input, output and your time thanks. Just not done with the tool.
re: ECMSpy tool/device, you know who you are, thank you for sharing the knowledge.

look on the menu headings there is an german/ english setting ( older free version )

plug color can be effected by

fuel air mix
fuel quality
mechanical condition of seals at head
seal on bottom of throttle body
possibly timing

I dont have my lap top handy or I would post a pic

I thought an MSQ file was a data file not a map.. ( mega squirt tuning data file )

Oldog, Roger that, on the "msq" file, the upload on the instructions in question/mentioned in the post, exceeded the limit. It's seven pages of ECMSpy "Kennfelder" instructions.

Not quite clear, on the "FREEBIE" Language barrier... again the file C:\Program Files\EcmSpy, which is the master app. file of the TOOL,,, there's more detailed breakdown of the LCL, CL, WOT, and other buttons....explained. To be exact, toggling through the various instructions shared -in Deutsch the "HTML Help" file, -in French&Spanish page "#35 of V1.4" attempting to fully understand ECMSpy, again the (7 page(s)) Titled Kennfelder possibly "Steves Safe Tuning Guide" IDK, when toggling to the English instruction, the copies differ.
On the other hand, the English Instructions contain more pages. Even with the extra pages(EN inst V1.7.8), application V1.12.27 of ECMSpy Tool, the poor translation of the instructions, leaves room for error, defeating the purpose of the tool.
While performing preventive maintenance, it is awesome to have this tool available, to be able to fully understand the tool, for maintenance gain was my goal. Can't afford to flash, crash and corrupt the data on this DDFI Buell, just don't want to take that road. In English, I have a Knock Off version of the tool, or what?. The bike is tight, tough as nails. Other than trying to maintain the fuel mixture in closed loop.

I am fine with the '99 Buell. Just love the way it catapults in the open loop regions. On/off and between Freeway/Highway ramps it's an addiction... Back in the day(Late 70's early 80's), riding my Yamaha Yz 80b, friends Suzuki Rm50, buddies Yz 80d, another friends Honda Xr75,The 2 Stroke Kawi 500&750 triple, a brother's Suzuki (999cc)Katana all of them had a way for me to get the spark plug color manageable, chocolate.
Fluck, hell of an deviation from the "Fuel Mixture in the combustion chamber" question.

Yall's can assist me with proper translation of ECMSpy's instructions or is cost still in effect?
Basically, the intructions RE:the Buttons(check or un-check boxes) on the bottom of the "MAPS" page 5 and the ones on/in the "ECM-Config" page 8. Note:Expert/Professional Mode.

Conclusion: On Clarification of the above.

My apologies to yall's who take the time to respond on this. Thanks for being here, on BADWEB.
As to the difficulty of the question asked... RE:Translation of the EcmSpy Instructions. Again, when running the EcmSpy on a computer via Windows XP, a help file appears as a "Compiled HTML Help" file.
When utilizing EcmSpy V.1.12.27 via Windows XP, right click 'EcmSpy'(on the Desktop), then left click 'Properties' now on EcmSpy Properties left click 'Find Target', the help file 'ecmspy_de.chm'(905kb) can be selected. The contents of this help file presents\explains the tool usage in a Windows format, explaining proper installation of the EcmSpy Tools program & drivers, in deutsch tho. In my case, we ended up using Google Translator on the (ecmspy_de.chm) help instructions. Translating ecmspy_de.chm to english. Shazaam!!

BUEGCBO 04-20-98 flash, Calibration ID #66 (buell.actifforum.com) thanks. What a launch!!!
