The material i used though which i had at work is a little soft. If i can find a better material i could make a few. anyone have any input on material i should us? If you're going to spend $50 for the bushings, why not spend $125 and get a complete kit for the new mount? It really is a much better design. Those bushings will just wear out again. I don't think I've ever heard of a set failing. Not to say it can't happen, but the old ones fail routinely. I replaced mine three times before upgrading. I do have a V&H mounted on the original style. I don't know if the weight of the muffler has allowed it hold up better. I had them make me two and it cost me $9.00.
