The rigid breather setups that drag specialties and the like make for sportsters do not fit a Thunderstorm motor. I did do a search here but no one said anything about them, guess that's why I don't ever see any on Buells..lol. 1 six dollar restocking fee and an order to American Sport Bike and i've got the right stuff on its way...

Well, at least i've got the CF intake on and it looks badass sitting in the garage...

I've got one on mine - just have to customize it slightly

That kit looks like the one I bought from Al for my M2 a while back. It works great.

I got the Drag Specialties 2-pack of the 'banjo' thingie for about $20, and about a yard of 3/8 Gates rubber hose for another dollar. Seems like it worked for a long time on my 2000 M2, I think it's a Thunderstorm head, but not sure. As much as I like and buy the stuff from American Sport Bike, this particular one seems like he's charging about $10 a foot for rubber hose, but it might include very thorough and complete instructions, whereas my DS kit had ZERO intructions, one has to be willing to improvise. The DS kit is listed as for all EVO motors, big and smaller, no mention of Buell. I guess everything depends... What support bracket, what air filter, is it a Keihin carb, where do you route the hoses.
There must be 50 different ways to do it that work, and probably a hundred more that don't, for some reason. I had a lot of folks say, "don't run the breather hoses up" but I do and it works, my catch-bottle has some blow-by in it. Maybe they just had a different combinations of elements.
