This is the first time I ventured to this side of the forum, and I don't have any knowledge on any Buells besides my XB, so please don't criticize me for asking a potentially dumb question. Looking at the S3 and the S1, they look to have the same frame, but different body and controls, exactly how different are they? Is there a different tail frame or is it all one tube frame like a monster? Thanks |

yes they can be made near the same with a little modification. the frame and tailsection of the frame are all one piece. the footpeg locations on an s3 are lower than on a s1. |

This used to be an S3.

Also, as Cyclone said, the frame is all one piece. An S1 tail section is much narrower and will not fit over the S3 tail framework without cutting and re-welding. HBJ |
