Now, the question is how to install it? Is there a PDF floating around to show how to install the Forcewinder? I got the breather unit along with it as well. Just need to know how to put it together. Cheers~ | ||

It is really simple. You will need a ball tipped allen. Be sure to use the support bracket thats on the bike. The instructions don't say to, but be sure you do. I suggest routing the breather to a catch can rather than back into the filter. Don't overtighten the LAN fittings on the breather. | ||

I looked all over for instructions and finally just went for it. You need to cut the wires leading to your air temp sensor make sure you measure the length of the chrome conduit provided, and make your cut where it will be above the conduit -- solder and tape the wire. You'll also have to grind or file down the base of the sensor to fit in the can at the end of the conduit -- take it slow if you use a grinder it comes off quick. Lastly the rain cover steals HP about 7 when I dynoed mine -- and makes the bike run rich -- plugs do not like it on cold day start ups. I keep mine on my mirror so it's quick to get to if I suspect rain. My riding friends always wonder why my Buell wears a black scrunchy -- I ran my breather into the filter and have only had a problem when I ran too much oil -- if I keep the oil level midway when its hot it doesn't puke -- if I fill it to the top it pukes a little when I shut 'er down -- the plumbing provided is pretty trick and most importantly it looks cool -- | ||

you dynoed the bike with the sock on and off and noticed a 7hp difference just by taking it off | ||

My riding friends always wonder why my Buell wears a black scrunchy. That's pretty funny. My sock blew off years ago and I noticed the bike runs OK in the rain as long as the filter is oiled with that K&N stuff. I never bothered to get another scrunchy. | ||

There really was 7HP difference. Although it was the first of 3 runs. The best run was the last, so split the difference and call it 3 or 4 -- and besides -- I used a very light weight 3 in 1 type oil -- | ||
