Here are some pictures from this weekend on our Arkansas trip:  The very gracious Joplin MO Buell dealer. They had burgers and hotdogs for us and a couple of us rode their XB12S. (thanks again guys!)  Another shot of the Joplin dealer.  KCBill's bike being looked at. Had some oil causing concern. Turned out to just be a breather bolt!  Here are the A-Fram huts most of us stayed in at the Iron Horse Stables just outside Eureka Springs AR. Neill and I roomed up in this one.  A shot of our camp setup.  The lineup of all the bikes in our group Saturday morning after we gassed up and about ready to roll!  Keith and Frank with a shot of the Ferry we had to ride to continue on our way. (very cool ride!)  All of us on the Ferry together with a couple other bikes and a couple of cars as well.  Shot of Richie enjoying the Ferry ride.  Looking off the back of the Ferry at the shoreline. Thats about it. Didn't have much time for pictures, we were too busy ridin'!  I'm already looking forward to the next one! | ||

Bads1- Good eye! I never even thought about that! hahah it is my understanding though that those pumps are non-operational. Infact one of the guys was talking about how they were going to be removed next spring when the whole building gets redone. | ||

Found this AWESOME graphic artist - Sandra http://www.sdlara.com - who is also a sportbike rider who is going to work on a race logo/cartoon for me. All I did was describe in an email the thought that pushing the Buell hard on the track was kind of like the old prospector pulling a stubborn mule (Mule being a common nickname for the Buell)... and this is what she came up with on first cut today:  She KNOWS motorcycles and cuts us about half her normal rate as a graphic artist. Can't wait to see it inked and colored! | ||

The engine makes 40 Hp, N9 cams, S&S head, 12.0:1 CR, Zippers pushrod tube adaptors, Pro Series air cleaner kit, roller rocker arms... I posted another picture in the Thumper forum. Jeff | ||
