Did that used to be a 900 Super Sport

I dont recall super sport having the single swing arm or under the seat exhaust. My guess is that is a 94-97 916.

Wasn't the 916 Water cooled?

I thought the 916 was water cooled. That looks to me like a Super Sport with a 916 swing arm conversion.

It looks like a 916 frame, swingarm, and fuel tank with a SS engine.

I agree, after further inspection it does look like a 916 tank, wheels, swingarm and etc. with an air cooled engine. Mystery

Finally finished painting my wifes Blast. She wanted me to Goth it up a bit for her, did the best I could.

For what I spent in paint and equipment I could have hired a guy to paint two bikes :P Meh it was fun. Everything painted with HoK and Auto Air paint.

Looks cool. I have to question the wisdom of painting your wife's bike in a black widow motif. If there are no more posts from orclover, I was right.

You still out there?

Gunslinger - we're on the same page. I had that same thought immediately. Goth is Goth but I think this theme is a license to kill... and eat?

Yea about halfway through the project the thought crossed my mind a couple times that I could possibly end up as the pictureboy of irony in some future news story. Luckily she currently has no inclination to send me to the great motorcycle dealership in the sky.

Nothing to fear yet I think cause she must be pretty happy with me right now. We went out and bought a matching red and black "catholic school girl uniform" w/ spiderweb accessories for her to wear on the bike along with some black and red hair dyes. Hopefully the entire ensamble will turn a few heads at next months Rot-Ralley here in Austin. If I die mysteriously before then, know that I brought it on myself : )

Dude-where'd you get the windscreen/headlight assembly? It looks even more alien than "normal". NICE. I have the cherry bomb on my '07 XB12S with the open air box and it looks wicked like your blue. See?

Boy- I'd sure like to upload bigger pic's like the rest of the BWB. I am "challenged" by the image optimization stuff. Who ever said "size isn't everything" was full of S**T.

Glitch-
I have looked at the top of the page. I have re-read it several times. I am not a computer "tard" rather, I am able to do lots of stuff and this still eludes me. I think I need a tutor on this one. If you're willing to help, please PM. Otherwise, it is like a calculus problem without any forseeable solution.

Kedo, the best thing to do is using an image program, resize your image to nothing bigger than 700X525 pixels. GIMP is freeware http://www.gimp.org/ and is just as powerful as Photoshop.
When you "save as" Gimp will prompt you for what quality you want the picture saved as.
Use the slide and choose a file size no bigger than 60K.
I know this isn't what's posted above, but it's what I do most of the time.
I also use Photoshop and the Xat software, so both ways work.
Hope this helps!
Obligatory Buell picture...

Oh yeah, I'm using the Cross Roads.

Kedo, all you have to do is resize your picture in your computer. Then, just start a new post and click the attachment button. Follow the prompts. If you have Microsoft Picture Manager (you should if you have Windows XP or similar) your picture should be opened using this program as a default, to resize your picture, double click on it to open it, click on the Edit Pictures tab at the top, then on the right hand side of the page you'll see a resize button. Click on that, and change the photo size by increasing the size percentage. If your picture doesn't automatically open with Microsoft Picture Manager, right click on your picture and choose "open with" from the drop down box, and look for Picture Manager. I've used the same picture twice, both saved with different size properties. Give that a try.

or you could just use on online image hosting site like photobucket.com
Its free and has handled all my pic needs...

Plus they automatically resize it to the above dimensions. So you don't have a 4000 by 8000 pixel pic hogging up the forum. : )

It says this above:
Once you have previewed your message successfully with no errors (you will just see the "Your Picture Here" logo at this point) then go ahead and "save" your message. The BadWeB message board will then ask you for the pic file (jpeg or gif format) on your hard drive to upload to the BADWEB server.
I don't get a "your picture here" anything. All I have is the "upload attachment" button next to the Preview/Post button - which doesn't spellcheck for me anymore even though I have it checked to do so in my preferences. I am now p##sed off. CRAP!
