Problems/Miles (Please be specific): | Clutch cable spring clip broke at about 6250 miles. Discovered that the rear exhaust header lock-nuts had backed out at 7200 miles (my bad) - should have checked them more frequently. Somewhere near 10K miles, the buttons on the instrumentation (speedo/clock) stuck and i can't reset the trip odometer or clock. fortunately, it was under warrantee - but then my local dealership bailed on the Buells and I'm stuck having to ride +2hrs to the nearest dealer. Freakin' local scumbag owner. Would have been a plug and play replacement. Other than that, the darned tires keep wearing out! Imagine that!!! |

Why I do/don't ride a Buell: | I do! I LOVE AMERICAN THUMP & RUMBLE! I don't want or need to go 150 mph to enjoy myself or feel like I'm on a "real" motorcycle. I don't think that a motorcycle has to be reving 14000rpm to give someone a thrill. I love cornering under power with pleanty of torque to spare. Oh yea, almost forgot - no chain, no coolant, no radiator, no waterpump - need I say more?!!! |
How can Buell improve their motorcycles?: | Hmmmmmmmmmm... Give me a 1125r in a sweepstake!!! Where's Ed McMahon, when you need him?!!! |
