Nicely phrased. Joe* also lost his case on giving a symbolic but huge amount of your money to banks to buy votes from those with student loans. Joe* or his handlers, ( same thing for this argument ) had to know he didn't have the legal power to spend money without Congress. That's what the Court decision was. The President isn't a dictator with power of the purse. That power is in the rotten branch of government across the park from the White House Joe* has his office. ( the one not shared with the Chinese Secret Police at the University, where Joe* stored his stolen classified documents ) I'm in favor of forgiving student loans. I understand the anger from people who pay their bills and think it's unfair that others wouldn't have to. I agree that Joe* was just trying to illegally buy votes. I even think Joe* or at least his script writers, knew he was lying about forgiving loans. But my plan is different. Better? Your opinion may vary. Obama Executive Orders that nationalized the student loans system, guaranteed profits to the banks that bribed him, the President can indeed, change some rules on Executive Order programs. And yes, I'd have to be President, the second worst possibility behind an asteroid strike that sterilized the planet.  So I would cancel, put on hold, the program as it exists. ( hey, I'm open to bribes ) I'd audit the banks involved to both determine if they had Yet made a profit on the Obama program, and if they'd paid the taxes on same. Any bank that hasn't made a profit would get a grant to make them whole. My bet is there aren't any, but Congress gets bribed by banks a Lot, so they'd vote to spend the taxes on keeping banks afloat as they always do. Plus it lets the Congresscritters claim they helped the poor victims of the Student Loans scam. Win win for everyone except the banks. Who at WORST break even and almost certainly have Pulled millions of profits from the high rate loans over the years. The only hit they take is the stopping of a lucrative revenue stream. They'll want me murdered and despised, but who cares? The University Capitalist Running Dog Commie Indoctrination Farms will oppose it, since they'll have to lay off some their racist dead wood to keep profits up and lower prices to meet market demand without the Obama bribed program propping up their insane prices. They'll want me dead too. So the banks and universities will become my sworn enemies. By their enemies you shall know them. Just wait until I discuss Defence spending on sexual ideology... | ||
