My first thought is that only Government could need to subsidize pot. Ruin a wet dream. etc. But, to my surprise, that's not, up front, the problem. Apparently they are making some great taxes on Pot. IF a State doesn't tax too much, it can be a money maker. If they tax too much, the Black market expands to fill the need and you get more crime and violence. ( California... Ironically, Disgraced Ex Governor Cuomo of The Imperial State, actually warned against getting greedy on taxes to avoid that. He's scum, but he was right on this one. ) If only the Feds would stop really stupid regulations on banking and other weed related matters, like maybe allowing normal business banking, and removing really old Prohibition laws, things would go smoother. No matter what there will be problems. They wrote the tax rules to have the money go to various "Woke" causes and give POWER to the politicians dispensing the money. That's understandable, it's how they got the votes in the Lefty Legislature. Every Greedy Pol wants more power. I don't have a solution to the problem that doesn't involve a conquest of the City by hostile ( to the current leadership ) forces. And I'm not going to Conquer Portland, I don't want it.  I do, however, have a comment on the racist funding of racist causes. It's ironically fitting that the same Party that ruthlessly exploited Drug Prohibition to steal from it's Citizens, ( get busted with drugs, lose car, house, etc. without trial or legal recourse ) and often applied the drug laws with racist malice, ( the rich white kids vs. black kids ( and poor white, hispanic, asian ) enforcement bias. Not always true, but often in D controlled inner Big cities. ) are exploiting the racism they created from both ends. At least it's obvious to me. I don't think the hypothetic Second Civil War is going to be anything like what the politicians think it will be. | ||

There's a doctor show where a patient insists she's a girl and is very upset one of the doctors won't go along. While the other docs give him lectures on the subject, the patient gets an MRI, and the rude doc announces "She's got testicular cancer". The way I see it, the problem isn't adults so unhappy they want to be a different sex than they are. I know a couple of them. It's when you are required to use specific language. Pander to the mental illness. It's nice to be polite, sure. It depends upon if it's a personal negotiation for preferred forms of address, or a blanket demand by Woke Karens. Be nice to individuals. Scolds can kiss my shiny metal... I chose not to encourage a-holes. And if your faith, upbringing, or personal trauma are your reasons to not agree on demand? Then certainly don't argue with crazy. Just oops, didn't know, never mind. End. You do you. Good luck. It's different than the tacit censoring of "The N word". That has a brutal history of oppression by the Klan Party for centuries, by now. It's not that hard to see that it's excessively and probably deliberately rude. ( and the reverse, the excessive rapper and punk use of it by Americans of African descent is for them to sort out, I like what the late Richard Pryor said, but, not my circus... ) It's different because the affected are already messed up. You'd negotiate with individuals on many matters, this is just another. And the not affected, not"alphabet" scolds deserve the same respect as any Karen who complains about cultural appropriation.
