In an unrelated story, the Russian aircraft carrier under repair caught fire, again. Smoking is a real safety hazard. But these things happen. A roof repair gone sideways burned down a historic carousel in Rochester last century. Hot tar and open flames, and whoosh! I know a garage where every time I saw them use a gas welder on a customer's car, there was a minor fire and cursing. ( but they were so used to inadvertent pyromania, they always had a water hose nearby. ) And heck, they haven't had a bad fire on that ship in four years! You have to look at the Big picture.  | ||

I can see the One Land CCP faction want to invade & occupy Russia from the Pacific to the Arctic to the Urals and the 'stans. I can also see India going hard realpolitik and exchanging a promise of peaceful alliance with China for a clear shot at Pakistan. I think Xi would be nuts to take that, but there's a nasty religious conflict between the CUP and Islam, and he might go Eastern Crusade to inspire/distract, get a short pipeline to Iran, and extend his borders to the Indian ocean. There aren't many western governments that would support Pakistan's resistance, with the War between Putin's Russia and Ukraine sucking up supplies and political will. That the invasion of the 'stans would amplify a genocidal domestic policy to a Continental level is worth considering. How many European powers would buy into a "Eurasia for Eurasians" crusade? The EU might find partnership with the CCP very attractive, kindred spirits and the promise of unlimited power through an International Social Credit tyranny. The WEF megarich Globalist gazillionaires that want a Utopia of bug eating serfs and themselves as benevolent wise overlords, may be as disposable as western intellectual elitists have always been, the delusional utopians who are first up against the wall after the Revolution.
