Yes, he said it. Yes, everyone who says he didn't is a dishonest pos. But you have to be crazy to believe he meant it like it sounds. Is he a native English speaker? No one ever made a Freudian slip before? ( that's actually not a great defense.  ) Obviously he didn't intend to say that. Or mean it, your choice. I'm even going to say I agree with his argument, that giving the experimental vaccine to young children in rich countries means elderly people in poor countries won't have access. In a general way. That individual dose the mean rich girl Porter may have given her children, and I hope it doesn't hurt them!, wasn't going to go to a poor old woman in "fill in the blank", anyway. It's only at the overall production and government purchase & distribution level that the argument is valid. But he's WHO, it's a big picture speech. It's wrong on multiple levels to risk children's lives on an experimental drug that probably, statistically, won't do any good, vs. Potential severe side effects. Especially when there are still millions of old folk that drug might save, and the potential harm of long term side effects is less. I'm not saying let the old folk suffer the strokes and heart disease, ( that seems to be more common in young people ) I'm talking long term side effects not yet known, that 2 years isn't long enough to get data on. If actual science is Allowed by the Establishment. Just pure paranoid speculation, here, but if soft tissue damage over time causes, oh, infertility, or a preference for the last season of Game of Thrones, it's best we find out with folk over 50 than kids under 12. Until we know more, and the censorship and political weapons grade CYA is eliminated, the vaccine ( mRNA spike protein version ) is still an unknown risk vs. reward problem. It is interesting to hear folks who still wear masks talk about how various friends have gotten it and barely knew it, plus talk how it’ll be with us for a while. There seems to be no knowledge of the death rate in the various age groups to really evaluate risk. One of these folks is diabetic and is fit and really watches diet. I’m sure the CDC has made that statistic hard to find, so that the anxiety levels are kept nice and high. | ||

( the spike protein ) Protection from strain A doesn't prevent strain B, C, D.... With fast mutating Coronaviruses, it's weeks or months between strains. The Cold you got in November and the one you got in February, are not the same virus anymore. The Annual Flu vaccine is a mix of virus proteins based on the best guess of a committee. They look at the trends, world wide, and pick the ones they think most likely to be "popular", this fall. But they literally can't know what the latest out of typically China will be, and the vaccine companies literally can't make a vaccine for an unknown with no samples in existence. That's why there is a Flu Season that varies so much, it's dependent upon how infectious and deadly the new mutations are. Apparently the mass exodus of Infection Spreading Chinese Tourists, will be carrying the newer ( Omicron &??? ) mutations across the planet this New Year. Let's just hope they are less deadly, ( as Omicron has been less deadly than Alpha and Delta ) and the increase in cases and deaths that is inevitable is not too bad. Herd immunity, it turns out, doesn't apply to the Common Cold or Pooh's Breath. If it did, the disease would be super rare. Not counting illegal immigrants for which we have no data, by now NEARLY everyone in the U.S. is either vaccinated or had Covid-19. Or both. So much for that theory. ( Science!
