This should be advertised on Facebook, XL forum, UKBEG, etc maybe with a GoFundMe or similar. Is BadWeb a registered non-profit? I'd think that there would be less laundry with Grass Roots individual sponsors. BadWeb pops up often if not every time during a web search on Buell. It's core to Buell on the web and the perfect name. Not being critical of anyone ... Honestly, I think the forum format is preventing visitors because it's not easy to add a photo or a simple acknowledgment that I hear you & agree. It's killing itself. Of course Facebook is da debil. As others mentioned, I'm sure the technical challenges are many but in the world of IT, all can be done. Dig deep, and throw a couple of your hard-earned ducats on the pile.   Blake Posted on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 - 06:30 pm:        Help! 2020 and 2021 (extrapolating) have me in the red by roughly $675 and $774 per year respectively, which means that's coming out of my personal account to keep the BadWeB up and running. Would sure appreciate some help from anyone not already pitching in. We have had over 800 users login to the BadWeB this year so far, about half that in the last 90 days. If just a tenth of the annual users would kick in $3/mo, we'd be golden. As of September 30th, 2021 we now have just 14 regular supporters funding the site, and the average donation prior to PayPal fees is $7.22. So far this year, we've got another $150 from non-repeating individual donations. The server still costs $200 per month; PayPal takes 7% on average as their cut of all donations, and the domain registrar gets round $60/yr. Neither I nor any of our custodians get a dime for looking after the place. Thanks to ALL who are chipping in keeping the place up and running. I do still intend to give it some much needed upgrades. Our sysadmin, Brian, has installed a new forum. I just need to make the transition happen.
