I think it was a mistake to release it when they did. It was half-baked - survivability numbers show that. They got the transmission part right...but not the mortality part. | ||

Look at the advantages, older unproductive peasants go away, the riots ended with all the murders and beatings hidden away, the press is limited to government hand outs, the peasants got a lesson in obedience, and the tools of Public Health total control restored the besieged regime, restoring absolute Power. And all those foreign economies, trashed. Win all around. A Satan Bug with high mortality outside old & sick would cut into military readiness. Real mass casualty biowar might inspire retaliation. Better a beta test, with enough impact to measure, but not so dire consequences if it either failed to spread as desired, or unduly impacted the Chinese Leadership. A mild killer, call it a 4-6x flu, absolutely perfect for a terror campaign, but not a military threat. This time. It's now obvious that the spread was managed and deliberate. Plane loads sent to Europe, Africa, the Americas, help answer one of the critical questions about a biowar attack. Can you get your plague spreading minions ( aware and cooperative, or not ) scattered fast enough to keep them alive long enough to metastasize into a true pandemic? That's harder with a high mortality agent. It's one reason why Ebola isn't a real threat outside Africa. And it's also helpful to have useful idiots assist your plague spreading by refusing to quarantine China or cancel mass tourism events. The Mayor of NYC doesn't have to be a commie of the same flavor, he just has to be greedy and vain. A bribe here, flattery there, advice from an ideological ally... All good. Interesting! That's "my" vaccine, & just like I didn't die from Pooh's Breath, yet, it hasn't killed me, yet. The possibility of auto-immune diseases is realistic. The Political Horror story of the vaccine being the apocalypse, not the disease it prevents, was known/speculated before this plague. If everyone who got a mRNA vaccine dies of a New Cancer or whatever label self destructive immune over reaction gets in the next 3 or 20 years, that's going to be a massive demographic upheaval. Not to mention an apocalyptic tragedy. We'll see. I'm not sure all the assumptions are correct about the mRNA vaccine being a kid killer, but with the observed age numbers for fatalities and unfortunately mostly anecdotal observations on serious long term damage, you have to make an uninformed judgment about having a very young child vaccinated. It's entirely possible that your unvaccinated children would be denied entry into the Government Indoctrination Centers! So there may be more aspects to consider than a single study. | ||

That's possible. ( fake ) There is an effort to confuse Anti-Vaxxers who most agree are loony toons, with skeptics of mandatory vaccination for a SuperCold. The agitprop is that you should equate anyone objecting to Governor's Whims with Idiot Karens who get their vaccination advice from Actresses who keep quoting an old British study that's been long known to be utter fraud. ( autism anti-Vaxx fears ) No matter your opinions on Pooh's Breath, including your opinion on my use of a deliberately insulting Label, you should know this manipulation is ongoing. As Hoot points out.  I made my choice based on available facts, and considered my risks. I know there's going to be people who flat out die when vaccinated for anything. Weird immune systems and/or allergies. Hundreds of millions of people, some will get sick & die from duct tape, peanuts, cat dander, or anything. Regular, common vaccines usually have egg proteins involved. A certain percentage are allergic. As it happens, I'm not. But the new mRNA vaccines don't have egg proteins, so that's not a problem. The new ones ARE experimental. There's zero doubt some percentage will have had reactions. To think otherwise is foolish and ignorant. I question the methodology and spin in the study posted above, just like I question the Imperial Governor, who lies with great fake sincerity, that's not in doubt, but it's not ALL lies. Probably. Skepticism is earned by the different players in the political side, and this is no different. It's amusing/intriguing to consider the horror action novel plot that a deep dark supervillain conspiracy has created a deadly time bomb vaccine, planned with the CCP, using Covid/SARS as the pretext for mass distribution fast enough to saturate Western Civilization, ( but not China! And certainly not the Hypothetical Conspirators ) before the technobabble clock runs out, and most of the troublesome enemies suddenly melt or become zombies.  ( really, zombie stories are just an excuse to dual wield machetes at the Mall. Video game cinematic. ) I can't imagine that happening in the real world, though. Unless that explains/conceals all the dead Chinese doctors murdered to keep Pooh's Breath secret, were really murdered by The Evil League Of Evil, and not by God King Xi. And the NBA. And Bill Gates. Gee. That sounds EXACTLY like what I've been saying for a year now. Reduce the testing cycles to a normal level (not 40+), and you eliminate the false positives. Use the proper medical definition of "case" - not just a positive test result, but also an accompanying set of matching symptoms. THAT, is a "case". Business owners seem to be having the staff wear masks, but don't enforce the mask required signs on the front door. Wisely IMHO, they seem to want to cater to both the customers who "trust" Bai-Den, the CDC, and the guv and the mask fetishists who don't want to be mistaken for MAGA fans. | ||

Imperial Governor Cuomo, mass murderer, has decreed that as of Wed. if you are vaccinated you don't have to wear a mask. Unless you are in public transportation, ( understandable, filthy peasants ) schools, ( understandable, little filthy germ factories ) and a list chosen by his Imperial Majesty, based on recommendations of the CDC, ( understandable, he needs someone to blame ) but not Tues., Because... Seriously, where his Imperial Whims Dictate mask wearing are actually logical places to wear a mask. For some people, those at risk, like Teachers. I just wonder about the mask wearers that you see in the stores. Have they not been vaccinated and are following the guidelines or are they so involved with the "safety" that they are truly worried about something with a 99+% recovery rate, if you happen to catch it? Personally, it feels terrific to not put the damn thing on. I read a remark today that we are told that demanding proof if vaccinated or not is just fine, but ID to vote is racist? | ||

They’re wearing them so they don’t get hassled. It’s the only reason I wear the damned thing. It’s the only reason I’ve ever worn one. Still have to wear one at work, unless I’m in my office. That changes in June. Go easy on folks. They’re going along to get along. |
