Car chases in the near future will be obsolete. Your new car is already sending control info to the MFG. How long before it becomes an override "for your safety". Automatic braking and collision avoidance will make movie action scenes a thing of the past. So sad. I'd put my tin-foil hat back on if it wasn't already true. Front wheel, rear wheel drive, no matter. The straps get wrapped around your rear axle, and as they pay out to their maximum length, the other end remains attached to the patrol vehicle and is used to bring you to a stop. Shelby truck or not, you aren't towing a cop truck very far when they have the brakes engaged | ||

Pit maneuver works great on rear drive but if you have a front drive it doesn't always work if you know how to drive a front drive. They tip you sideways but you gas it and the front drive will pull you straight again. | ||

Heard a story about Lowell several years ago. Frank Zappa was known for his anti-drug stance and during an encore of a Mothers concert, Lowell came out and played “Willin’”. Frank came back on stage and fired Lowell for glorifying drug use. Then the world was blessed with Little Feat. My two favorite tracks are Willin’ and Fat Man in a Bathtub. Z |
