Still, Barry only asked for a half million cash bribe to join his "lunch with the President club" to ask him favors, and for most Americans a million bucks is their unattainable goal to have in savings, not an insignificant fraction of their portfolio. Yep. Has NOTHING to do with the fact that "Beethoven" is common knowledge throughout Western society, where "Barbara Smith" is a relative unknown. We've (potentially) got LOTS of "Barbara Smith"s...but there's really only one "Beethoven". "Ludwig Von" is redundant. Has nothing to do with first name / last name. Has everything to do with hundreds of years of exposure, and teaching, and knowledge. |
