Your First Amendment rights apply EVERYWHERE. {Not on private property, the owner may ask you to leave. refusal will escalate the situation, if the owner feels threatened, force [including lethal if warranted] may be used, granted 911 should be called perhaps a social worker may help} Until you strike another person. Or damage property. Or refuse lawful orders to let traffic pass. Or abuse restaurant patrons in the middle of their meals. SPEAK, don't touch, don't abuse. Yup, looks like we're no longer allowed to defend ourselves, our families, or our businesses/properties. "Pursuit of happiness"? Gone. The Louisville thing is a tragedy, sure, but rioting? Bullshit. They HAD a "no-knock" warrant. They KNOCKED. They IDENTIFIED themselves. And...they got SHOT AT. "Oh, I'm sorry, you must not want us here...our bad..." <exit,> Right. Shoot at a cop? You get shot at in return. Simple math. Bullets aren't black. Or white. Dark apartments don't reveal the color of the attacker. Cops don't care WHO shoots at them - they're gonna shoot back. ANYONE would. Hide in front of your sleeping girlfriend while you shoot at cops? YOU got your girlfriend killed, not the cops. And the one officer who did get convicted, was because he "fired an excessive number of rounds" (ten). Um. What's an ACCEPTABLE number of rounds to fire, when you're being shot at? Personally? I'll stop when either a) incoming fire stops, or b) I'm completely empty. (and, to poke the bear with a stick...ten rounds is still under the "high capacity" magazine rule...so where's the problem?)
