Is "architected" a word?

OK, a serious bit and well worth checking out... anyone who's familiar with foster situations will appreciate. Great story, do share.

Just got my Pink Freud shirt today. XL fits perfect, cotton is super comfy!

Finally, I'm cool.

I saw a Pink Freud shirt years ago. Like, in the late 80s. Old dude was sitting behind me when I went to RFK stadium to see...you guessed it...Pink Floyd.

I forget what tour it was - something about the air quality in the stadium makes my memory a little fuzzy, lol - but I do remember a MONSTER 50' mirror ball that came up out of the sound tower center-field (they had the state in one end zone), and it got hit with I don't know how many lasers they had placed all around the stadium.

Yeah, Joe, for me that's one that got away- one of several bands I'll never get to see. They played Starweed, I mean Starwood, in Nashville on their last tour. Never saw the Talking Heads, but I have seen David Byrne.

I used to keep all my ticket stubs, intending to do a collage one day... somewhere in all my junk, they should still be around. Haven't kept many for the past several years, but I do love seeing a good live show. Unfortunately, there's a growing tendency for a live audience to be "too" live.

We won tickets last year to go see the Tedeschi/Trucks band, and dang I was stoked! Apparently, so were a lot of the other folks there, due to their hollerin'.

OK- I'm there to hear the artists, not your moron aiss hooting. Every now and then, an appreciative round of applause after a killer solo run, otherwise SHUT THE HELL UP. Saw Billy Joe Shaver live, left early because, aisshats.

Whoops, wrong thread, that just grinds my gears. Remind me to tell you about seeing Herbie Hancock on his "New Standards" tour, when the fella down my row answered his cell phone at the beginning of "Mercy Street", IIRC.

Allright- Mark has enough Pits to work up a gang from the "Warriors" movie, from way back. Better yet, the Droogs from "A Clockwork Orange".

OK, here's 17 minutes of beauty. Never heard of a Kora, and I've never heard a cello played like this- what a duo. Sad part is apparently the TSA dismantled/destroyed that Kora. What a shame.

@Shog- stories like that just break my heart. To have the gift and ability to make such fine music, then to have some brain-dead Fk ruin an irreplaceable instrument, that's just a shame. Hope the guy gets back on track with another kora at least as nice as that one. If you watch the video, you'll notice him occasionally tuning it a bit... fascinating. Sounds a bit like a hammer dulcimer, which I love. And the cello player makes the instrument almost sound like a woodwind, and several other sounds I'd never expect from that thing. Reminds me of Kronos Quartet- saw them live once, fantastic show. Incidentally, it was on their "Pieces Of Africa" tour, great stuff.

If you've got a spare 17 minutes, very enjoyable.

RD, that was priceless! I had customers at SMHD like that. Loved them all. One guy made "yep" or "yeah" into a 2 syllable word... fascinating to speak with him.

And, I love me some Chappelle. Walking in the steps of Richard Pryor.
