And now the New York Times finds itself claiming high ideals to defend against the back lash from an editorial that mildly questions The Holy Cause. If I believed for an instant they were honest about their statement I would heap praise on them. I don't. Instead I question why they don't fire the apparently lone conservative writer. It still isn't rape. The guy's mistake was promising payment instead of just saying he was taking the "audition" tapes to producers for review where they then had the possibility of being hired - which of course they didn't. Hard to believe these women thought they were making a porno that would presumably be found on the internet and then got upset when employers or boyfriends were informed. I don't think they had a reasonable expectation of privacy but, then again, the dude is going to jail. As for the ladies, I don't have much sympathy for stupidity or greed (deciding to make money off something that they're already giving away). | ||

Regarding the Idaho story, the girl shows the NASA graph with the "hockey stick" and doesn't seem to be aware of the faked data no mention of the lack of the scientific method regarding higher CO2 and some warming happening at the same time, with no acknowledgement of previous warm periods without horrible capitalist industry. The guy hikes in Idaho for 13 years and somehow has the knowledge that similar changes absolutely didn't happen in previous times? I realize he is a skeptic and probably was misquoted. It truly is a religion. |
