Again - I've worn my Sidi's all day long, working retail RV sales (according to FitBit, an average of 8 miles a day). Zero comfort issues. |

I've got a pair of Bilt boots and compared to the Irish Setter boots they are a much thinner leather, the shaft is unlined, and they're not waterproof. Like I said, the Irish Setter boots are sold as "Work Boots" but they are very good "motorcycle boots" as well. Still, as good as they are, I find I still wear my tried and true Combat Lite boots the majority of the time. And to Court's point I was a LITTLE disappointed after I opened the box to discover the Irish Setter boots were made in China... BUT their quality is rather exceptional despite the country of origin. |

Daily, I wear a pair of Ariat cowboy work boots. I really do like this brand. Like a Wellington with a cowboy round(R toe) toe and a walking heel. When I get into leathers it's the Chippewa Rally. Mine have stayed dry even in rain but that's in the context of Colorado's heavy annual rainfall. I have had issues with the stitching failing, FYI. Ariat - China, Chippewa - USA..... Z Ariat -

I wear Bates tactical boots. They have a zip-up side that make getting in and out easy. With my pant legs over them they look kind of like round toe work shoes. http://www.academy.com/shop/pdp/bates-mens-gx-8-go re-tex-side-zip-boots#repChildCatid=44266 |

Back when I was coaching rider's ed courses, these were the only boots that remained comfortable all day on my feet on the range: http://shoerepaircenter.com/corbin.html |

+1 on Ariat. I bought a pair years ago that has a material kinda like a truck's bedliner halfway up the sides- steel-toes, dang near indestructible. Had a local cobbler re-do the soles a year or so ago- still going strong! |
