After Denver thumped Cam Newton's a$$ last year in what was one of the best games ever (unless you're a Panthers fan), this year's game feels a bit anticlimactic. A big hurdle for Atlanta but not insurmountable. | ||

Best game ever????? There were a LOT of other Super Bowls way better than that one. Shit the Patriots/Seahawks was probably the best although the Titans Super Bowl was pretty good too. | ||

I bet/know I have to work...  Unless it's a sports bar, or something similar with scads of giant TV's, most restaurants should close. At the end of the day, should one use red or black ink for the ledgers? Oh well. Here's hoping someone does a few clever commercials... | ||

Buddy & I made chili & watched game. By halftime Figured a typical one sided game & decided by turn overs. Fired up the xbox for halftime. Rest of the game my buddy was laughing about the series of firsts Brady would rack up if he won. Biggest comeback, first overtime super bowl, most angry press, first charges of witchcraft. ..  Surprisingly good game. I usually just watch for the commercials. | ||

There are several people at my office who we have placed on suicide watch... I thought the half time show was well done, for once. No overt political agenda. Pretty cool what they did with the synchronized drones above the dome. | ||

Heard on the radio this morning the FAA banded drones in a 70 mile radius of the stadium. It was a pretty good game... except the part where the Falcons lost. Other than that it wasn't to bad. FAA rumor is true. Public record. NOTAMS covered it. Daily notifications to aviation. They tell pilots where to avoid. Rocket launches, big sporting events, live fire training, etc. Points to Lady Gaga. While she didn't jump off the dome, that was faked. She did hang on a wire in harness for her show. ( rooftop singing and multi copters were filmed days ago ) | ||

Tv ratings were low. My bet is the pre game hype & leaked political activism turned off football fans. The super bowl has been mediocre football usually. The good games are rare enough they get noticed. This one was a good game. Drama, despair, come back, triumph. Maybe not the best "The Replacements" sports movie game, but fun. Local sports talk is the Buffalo Bills have a mathematical chance at making the playoffs. ( that was the local mantra most of last year.... until they were out of contention, again. It became a sick joke for Bills fans. Implying that it was hopeless but desperate wishful thinking. ... again ) | ||

Just as the Pats were about to throw a touchdown in the 4th, the power went out for a couple of minutes. Freakin' hilarious on the timing. | ||
