Alluding to one progressive analyst’s criticism of the Sanders agenda as “puppies and rainbows,” Mr. Goolsbee said that after his and others’ further study, “they’ve evolved into magic flying puppies with winning Lotto tickets tied to their collars.”
WOW! When the left leaning economists are calling Bernie's economic plan "magic flying puppies with winning Lotto tickets tied to their collars", you know he's going in the wrong direction.
All you Democrats that are getting tired of a handful of super rich running your party, come on over and help us overthrow the super rich who run the Republicans.
You have no shot to change the minds of the Leftist rulers who run the D party.
We might not have a shot either, but it's the only game in town.
Interesting developments with Hillary in South Carolina this week (our Democratic primary is today). She was the guest at a $500/plate fund raiser in Charleston this week. Two Black Lives Matter activists purchased tickets, attended and confronted her over her 180 degree flip flops over her political career. The crowd of mostly white (and no doubt wealthy) attendees booed and the Secret Service kicked the protester out.
I still don't. Very poor form. Being an ass is not how you win people to your point of view. I could have sympathized with code pink too, if they weren't such assholes.
Oh, absolutely it was poor form and rude as hell. I just find it nuts that Hillary's trying to portray herself here in SC as "America's first black female president".
Hughlysses. Bernie might "win" the nomination on votes. Remains to be seen since there are a lot of primary elections to go.
Get the nomination? Maybe not. Heard a pundit today on NPR state that the Party just won't accept Bernie. He predicted that if Hillary loses or is prosecuted, that Joe Biden will be handed the nomination.
There's also growing rumours of a Republican convention being "brokered".... meaning that now that Jeb has dropped out, the Party leaders hand the nomination to Rubio. The Party leaders hate Cruz and aren't fond of Trump.
So "for the good of the Party" it's possible that we will have 2 candidates in the general election that were not chosen by the voters.
So I'm sticking to my prediction of Cuomo vs. Rubio in November. If I'm wrong. ... I'll be happy.
Best scenario I see is that Hillary wins the primary, Bernie knows he's been screwed by the DNC and decides to run as an independent. Not a prediction, but it would be a great outcome.
I didn't want any more WTF's with our next president (or not as many) but the more I think about Trump as President,... the more I think we will have more WTF's than ever. Not so much with either Rub or Cruz.
