Did your momma approve of you gettin' a man's name tattooed on your arm? |

Well if she named him Felon, er... Phelan - she's probably wondering what took him so long... finally making momma proud =] That's devotion right there Ross, I'm impressed. I've found my enthusiasm waning as the years of EBR court/funding issues drag on. |

Any color going into that, Phelan? Highlights, shadowing? Welcome to the fold , dude! Allergy clinic loves us inked folks as we handle the shots a lot better! Enjoy and get more tats! Btw, you got mail. Was that a license plate holder holding that shirt up? |

Nice Ross, like the one I have over my heart... Of 4 tattoos, the only one with a name. Get it filled in, it'll last better.

Perhaps this would have been more appropriate.

LOL. I can see the Pegsus as that is a cool logo and can stand by itself, but the block lettering BUELL is a bit trailer-ish IMO. Reminds me of a dude I played hockey with. He had "FORD" in about 3-4" block letters across his shoulder blades. Beautiful! |

...a bit trailer-ish IMO. That pretty much sums up all tattoos...IMO. G |

Oh aren't we superior... REAL BIKERS have tats. get over it. They also tend to party too much. Bikers have more fun than people. Z |

Careful, the ink can be addicting! Right sleeve finished about 5 years ago- Left arm started 4 days ago! Now if you guys will excuse me, I need to get the yard ready for Christmas. Y'all think tossing some lights on the 75 Nova on blocks out front and polishing the wheels on this here mobile home is a good start? |

Bottom line is if you put ink in your skin and post it up on the internet, prepared for comments positive and negative. What's that saying about opinions are like a-holes? I personally wouldn't ever consider a tattoo, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate some tatoos here and there. |

Don't have any ink, but certainly not opposed to them- actually, I've always appreciated the good ones. Here in Mur-vil TN we have a top-shelf artist, Autumne, at Integrity Tattoo... I'd get on the LONG wait list to see her if I ever feel the need. |

I wasn't expecting mine to be perfect, nor do I care tbh. I knew going in that I may or may not want to touch it up later. It was done my one of my best friends (one who is like my brother) in Amarillo, who is apprenticing. I wanted to find a way to spend some time with him and support him, since I don't get a change to see him often, and I wanted to express my support and enthusiasm for Erik Buell and his bikes. I've been a Buell enthusiast for 9 years now, and even in the 3 years I didn't have a bike, my enthusiasm hasn't wavered. Now that I'm a pretty decent Buell mechanic, I don't see that changing any time soon. |

I'm curious, do tattoo artists get to practice on pigs first or something before they go into business? |

Depends on where you apprentice, but my buddy did practice on various materials. I don't remember exactly which though. He told me about them at one time, but that was a few years ago at his previous apprenticeship, which he had to leave early due to life circumstances in the way. |
