It is a shame that a candidate like Jim Webb is a marginal candidate in the Dem party. We've spent that past 7 years with a "free stuff" administration. Our national debt has roughly doubled during that time. Now they want to double down on that! They have no conscious stealing from future generations that way. I find it disgusting.

Watching last nights debate, Hillary was asked how she would not be a third term of BO. Her answer was basically that she has a vagina. It's hard to imagine a weaker response.

Then again, there is some difference between having a vagina and having no balls.

"No balls". Says the guy driving the Miata. Same guy that needs permission from his wife to purchase said Miata. You should step up from your bus driving job Sifo and run for president. But wait...you won't...because.... you've got no balls.

http://www.nationalreview.com/article/425361/hilla ry-clinton-political-ambition-sexism?target=author &tid=897

Bernie Sanders is stealing Hillary’s thunder because he sticks to his principles. Yes, all politicians trim their sails to the political winds to one extent or another. But Hillary Clinton operates like she lost her mast. Or something. I’m not very good at nautical metaphors. In this she is every bit a Clinton. Jesse Jackson once said of Bill: “There is nothing this man won’t do. He is immune to shame. Move past all the nice posturing and get really down in there in him, you find absolutely nothing . . . nothing but an appetite.”

Hillary Clinton was secretary of state for four years and she did little to nothing of consequence — well, nothing of positive consequence — beyond prepare for a job she felt entitled to. Yeah, she flew a million miles. But as I’ve said before, if you had a travelling salesman who racked up a million miles without closing any sales, he wouldn’t get the set of steak knives at the end of the year.

Indeed, one of the funniest aspects of her flip-flop on the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) is that TPP was one of the few things she could plausibly take credit for. The day before Clinton came out against TPP, Anne-Marie Slaughter was on NPR touting the trade deal as one of her biggest accomplishments. No wonder her defenders want to rally around the pantsuit battle flag.

Hillary Clinton reminds me of Ted Kennedy, and I don’t just mean the comparable driving skills. When Ted Kennedy was asked why he wanted to be president, he couldn’t answer the question. He was a Kennedy. He felt entitled to the job and it never occurred to him to formulate a reason beyond that. His rambling reply to the question “Why do you want to be president?” killed his bid for the job. Ever since, it’s been political consulting 101 to make sure your client has something to say when asked that question, and I’m sure Hillary could offer up some perfectly serviceable pabulum if required to. But it seems obvious to me that her real answer would be closer to the Kennedyesque one. She feels entitled to the job. It’s her turn. Replace “because I’m a Kennedy” with “because I’m a woman” or “because I put up with all of Bill’s crap and I deserve my shot” or “because there’s nothing else for me to do.”

Goatlicker defends BO by attacking me. That's funny. The Miata BTW is just as much for the wife as myself. Why in the world would I not let her have input? It's a modern world out there. Women don't have to walk 10 feet behind their spouse anymore.

I don't think you get that you can't use ignorant and sexist insults to insult somebody who isn't ignorant and sexist.

My wife drove a Mini Cooper S. She has moved on, but we still have it, and I'm looking forward to driving it. It's not as comfortable as my V6 two stage turbo Saab 9-3 Aero, but the supercharged mini handles better and accelerates quicker.

It is entertaining watching Goatlicker display his ignorance. He thinks Miatas a gay, yet they are the most raced car in the world. He must think racing is gay.

I don't think it's entertaining. Maybe he has painful emotional issues from an encounter with a gay school bus driver in his youth. Couple that with his projection that car choice determines sexual orientation, and he sees Tom as a threat from his past. He has threatened Tom with physical harm, and he is really hung up on the whole school bus driver and gay Miata thing. I kinda feel sorry for the guy.

Yeah and what do YOU drive Greatlaker?...

Me, I drive a 95 sportster for fun, a 2000 S3T every day to work and back and a 1975 FJ40 when 2 wheels is not enough.

That's my man card and big dick vehicle.

Here's my feminine side:
The SO let's me drive her Outback when I need to or if we carpool. The FJ40 is really hers.

Fess up GL...

"Watching last nights debate, Hillary was asked how she would not be a third term of BO. Her answer was basically that she has a vagina. It's hard to imagine a weaker response."

Finally something we completely agree on...

It's a bizzaro world. In both parties, the best available choice probably has no chance, and the only one that even looks sane on the D side, Webb, is going to be ignored by the Media.

I'm going to have to "correct" one of the applause lines from Bernie, though.

"Let me say something that may not be great politics," he said. "But I think the secretary is right. And that is that the Americans are sick and tired of hearing you lie about your damn e-mails."

Almost got it right Bernie. Better luck next time.

It's possible that I missed some intended sarcasm in that remark, but I would look forward to Carly, Ben, or even Donald taking on Bernie's fiscal plans in a one on one debate. Still people are drawn to the allure of "free" stuff.

http://freebeacon.com/uncategorized/clinton-noone- signed-off-on-my-use-of-a-personal-server/

http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/257214 -clinton-cracks-up-over-question-about-fbi-investi gation-into-email

I love how the real core question is never asked.

Her use of a Private Server was to shield her correspondence from Congress. She Said So. That's not in doubt. But. It's a State Department Rule.

The thing is, since she used her own server to store Government State Department E-mails, ( along with her wedding MomZilla mail, and her Yoga Mail ) ALL of her emails are the property of the People of the United States.

All of them. It's the business of the Nation. It makes no difference if it's tweets from her phone or a scroll on finest parchment with calligraphy in gold leaf. It's the business of the Nation, And the correspondence of the Secretary of State, and the Janitor down the hall, is protected by actual Law. Not State Department rules.

Destroying Government Documents that may be subpoenaed by a court or Congress, is a Criminal Act.

Hillary not only admitted to this criminal act, she then lied about the details, ad nausea, ad infinitum.

Destroyed evidence. Period. Do not pass go, do not collect your government pension, and never, ever allowed to serve in public office.

Never could have seen this coming...

CO-OP FLOP: The Biggest Obamacare Disaster You’ve Never Heard About

quote:

It’s an Obamacare story with every imaginable outrage — blatant conflicts of interest, millions of tax dollars going to political cronies, thousands of Americans left without health insurance, lavish pay for incompetent executives, federal funds diverted illegally, multiple congressional investigations, insider trading convictions and big decisions made behind closed doors.

Tragically, there is even a child abuser. But search the New York Times web site for “Obamacare co-ops” and nothing comes up. Just three entries appear for the same search on the Washington Post web site.

Not so, Richard Pollock of the Daily Caller News Foundation’s Investigative Group. Pollock has filed dozens of stories about the Obamacare co-ops since 23 of the tax-funded groups were created in 2011 at a cost of $2 billion. President Obama promised the co-ops would help lower medical costs by competing with profit-driven private companies.

Seven of the co-ops have closed. A recent report by the Department of Health and Human Services Inspector General said the rest of the co-ops are in deep financial trouble and more are expected to close.

None of these dismal developments come as a surprise to those following Pollock’s byline for the past four years. Here are a dozen of his most significant co-op stories, some of which were reported when he worked for the Washington Examiner.

One third of Obamacare co-ops have failed.
New York’s Obamacare co-op drew the most consumer complaints.
Feds admit more Obamacare co-op failures are coming.
Obamacare co-op execs hid millions in lavish pay, consulting fees.
House panel says Obamacare co-op illegally diverted $25 million.
‘Luxurious’ funding lets Obamacare co-ops undercut commercial rivals.
Obamacare co-ops mostly not ready for opening day.
Four investigations of Obamacare co-ops.
Obamacare’s Louisiana co-op riddled with self-dealing, conflicts of interest.
Groups led by insider trader, child abuser got Obamacare co-op loans.
Obama political ally got $340 million Obamacare co-op loan.
Obamacare co-ops being formed behind closed doors.

Tom.

Why do you post crap from that right wing rag The Daily Caller? Can you not find a legitimate news source that espouses your hatred? Why do you insist on sharing your alarmist, right wing crap with the board? President Bush isn't coming back Tom. Get over it.

From Wiki...

"The Daily Caller is a politically conservative[2][3] news and opinion website based in Washington, D.C., United States. Founded by Tucker Carlson, a libertarian conservative[4][5] political pundit, and Neil Patel, former adviser to former Vice President Dick Cheney, The Daily Caller launched on January 11, 2010. In late 2012, The New York Times reported that the site had quadrupled its page view and total audience and had become profitable without ever buying an advertisement for itself.[6]

As of April 2014, Carlson serves as the publication's main editor-in-chief with Christopher Bedford as his managing editor.[7]

Daily Caller co-founder Tucker Carlson
The Daily Caller is in the White House rotating press pool and has full-time reporters on Capitol Hill.[8] Notable reporters and columnists include Matt Lewis and Matt Labash.[7]

Ideology
The Guardian referred to The Daily Caller as "the conservative answer to The Huffington Post".[9] An article in The Washingtonian commented that in comparison to The Huffington Post, "The Caller puts more emphasis on its own reporting, whereas HuffPo is happy to feature someone else’s story" and "The Caller's headlines tend to be less misleading and opaque."; [10] In February 2012, Internet marketing research firm comScore found a plurality of The Daily Caller's site visitors to be self-identified political Republicans; of the remaining visitors, independents outnumbered Democrats 26.8 percent to 8.6 percent.[11]

In an interview with Politico, Carlson said that The Daily Caller will not be tied to ideology but rather will be "breaking stories of importance". In a Washington Post article, Carlson said "We're not enforcing any kind of ideological orthodoxy on anyone."; [12] In an interview with The New York Times, Carlson said that the vast majority of traditional reporting comes from a liberal point of view and called The Daily Caller's reporting "the balance against the rest of the conventional press".[6]

In March 2015 Daily Caller columnist Mickey Kaus quit after editor Tucker Carlson refused to run a column critical of Fox News coverage of the immigration policy debate.[13] Carlson, who also works for Fox, reportedly did not want the Caller publishing criticism of a firm that employed him.[14] Journalist Neil Munro quit two weeks later.[15]

Controversy over prostitution allegations[edit]
In March 2013 The Daily Caller posted interviews with two women claiming that New Jersey Democratic Senator Bob Menendez had paid them for sex while he was a guest of a campaign donor.[16] The allegation came five days before the 2012 New Jersey senate election. News organizations such as the New York Times, ABC News and the New York Post declined to publish the allegations, viewing them as unsubstantiated and lacking credibility.[17][18][19] Subsequently, one of the women who accused Menendez stated that she had been paid to falsely implicate the senator, whom she had never met.[17][20] Menendez's office described the allegations as "manufactured" by a right-wing blog as a politically motivated smear.[21]

On March 18, police in the Dominican Republic announced that three women had claimed they were paid $300–425 each to lie about having had sex with Menendez.[22] Dominican law enforcement also alleged that the women had been paid to lie about Menendez by an individual claiming to work for the Daily Caller. The Daily Caller denied this allegation, stating: "At no point did any money change hands between The Daily Caller and any sources or individuals connected with this investigation".[23] Describing the unraveling of the Daily Caller's "scoop", the Poynter Institute wrote: "The Caller stands by its reports, though apparently doesn't feel the need to prove its allegations right".[24]

The FBI investigated the allegations, leading to scrutiny of Menendez's relationship with the donor,[20][25] and on April 1, 2015, Menendez was indicted on federal corruption charges.[26] During a news conference following the indictment, Menendez said that the FBI had been "tricked into starting this investigation three years ago with false allegations by those who have a political motive to silence me."; [
