That's why the Leaders oppose the Tea Party, Trump, Carson, etc. They shake up the happy lifestyles of Professional Politicians who have spent their lives sucking off the public teat. As to "Social Democrat, Democratic Socialist, Socialist, Communist, labels, I defy anyone to give a consistent definition, since the ideology is inherently dishonest in it's self description. How do Con men rate themselves? At the extremes, the ideology is a mass murdering torture machine. This has in the last century included half the planet, so How extreme is arguable. National Socialists, Soviets, Maoists, alone account for more death than cancer in the 20th Century. To be fair, a small percentage seem not be be pathological sociopaths. Scandihoovian Socialism actually works fairly well. taxes are high, lots of services are cheap or free, and the people like it. But they have been Socially heterogeneous, with everyone being raised to understand the Social Contract. Immigration that is not assimilating is an issue. That breaks the math. ( just like Illegals in the U.S. Melting pot works. Diversity doesn't. ) I have doubts we could make it work as well, as say, Norway does. We have higher costs, part from our military, and part from the multiplicity and duplication of Social programs. It would be logical to streamline the whole thing and actually make the math come out, but each branch of the Government Dedicated to Serving the Public is it's own Empire, guarded jealously by the millions of lobbyists that infest any capitol. So good luck with that. | ||

Yes. They export oil, and import dollars. Those dollars have to come from somewhere. They don't come from socialist dystopias. Look at the decline of Argentina and Venezuela in recent years. Socialism sucks. | ||

Huh? Argentina isn't Columbia. Venezuela went Commie hell hole. And both countries have abundant natural resources and until recently in Venezuela well educated, hard working people. They're still hard working, just oppressed. Argentina has problems but it's mostly related to the failed promise that is socialism. To be fair to Columbia, if the U.S. legalized drugs the drug trade would collapse overnight. We know Canadian & Colorado pot is world class, I'm sure some entrepreneurs could grow Coca in greenhouses with good quality control and lower costs. Not that I'm for cocaine use. But back in the Regan days most of D.C. did tons. I say bring back the Nixon drug treatment war on drugs and stop the war on Americans. | ||

I just googled "missing 5 months of emails" to find a story on it. Do it yourself. Use a phrase that you feel should provide results related to this. Then look at the news agencies covering the story. Or should I say the ones NOT covering it. Just sayin... Now ask yourself, where do I get my "news" from?  | ||

I'm of the opinion that it won't matter. They could find emails with pictures of her eating babies, and nothing would happen to her. I mean, there's no secret she's pro 'choice'. So no news there. The press will downplay anything they find, and the low information voter will put her in office. The justice department will not prosecute, and will not appoint a special prosecutor. She is untouchable. | ||
