I Am curious about which jerk the R party is going to push for, which ones we don't want and why. But if you really want to go over revisionist history, consider the Tet Offensive near the end of U.S. time in the Vietnam war. Cronkite declared it a loss. He's been declared an Internationalist by some with hints that he'd gone commie.... at least in the Lie to shape opinion sense.. Maybe. In military terms it was one of the biggest one sided victories in history. U.S. and Republic forces did not decimate the cream of Uncle Ho's Army, it only let about a tenth get away. Yet often we are told it was a great loss and turning point. ... And it was but because of political reasons, not military or moral ones. Then Congress abandoned Vietnam and tens of millions were murdered. Not happy about the current abandonment of the people of Iraq. Wish I couldn't say I predicted/feared this. History does not repeat itself, but it sure does rhyme. | ||

Patches, the above 2 posts, posting links of stuff without comment, are what is considered trollish behavior. Please enlighten us, if that is your goal, with what You think, then use such links to illustrate your point. Also, what do either of these screeds have to do with this topic? We are well aware that the economy is being destroyed by very rich and evil people. How much of what you are posting is even close to real, I don't know, but there isn't a lot any of us can do about the Knights Of Malta, or the Federal Reserve, except vote for responsible people, and darn, they are rare on the ground. Benghazi, however, is worth discussing. According to the NY Times, it was a gun running operation from Libya through Turkey ( which has a nut job leadership dragging a former important ally into the 8th century ) to be delivered to what became ISIS. Yep, Obama seems to have been a major player in arming and encouraging ISIS. And lied about it. Still does, always will, it's his deepest faith. Lie and seed hatred for power. Yes, I'll post some editorial complaining about this or that, but generally it's relevant to the subject, although I sometimes have to clarify that the editorial is not MY opinion. Example would be the article on Barry's faith I posted in "The O" thread. Not sure I agree 100%, but it is a rational take on the subject. But "the evil rich guys that rule the Earth In Secret Are Out To Steal Your Stuff" videos, while they may have some truth to them, ( there are evil guys, they are out to steal your stuff... ) dont' have a darn thing to do with not wanting Jeb Bush to be the next Prez. Unless HE IS the rich guy, in which case a Masonic Conspiracy Video should mention him to be germane to the discussion. I know you are able to have rational discussions, I've read them, and, mostly Do Not Disagree!, but un-commented conspiracy editorials don't tell us anything. Except make us wonder if you are off your meds. A sarcastic comment indicating you are not fooled by the Illuminati freaks, would clear up a lot. Thanks. | ||

The D party has proven it's not the answer either. If it wasn't committed to the neo-commie progressive platform and disarming us peasants, I might even prefer the D's. And they too are Rich. They just lie they are better than the R's. And that the R's are racist, while they are the pro slavery plantation party. ( The folk who wrote Jim Crow laws are the D's ) I even agree the choices suck and the R leaders are rich power lovers just like the D leaders. However the D's have no reform movement and the R's do. The R leaders hate the reformers more than the D's do. I support overthrowing the R leaders. So any hope you have of avoiding becoming Soylent Green rests in picking the reformers that aren't fakes like Obama. To be fair Obama IS a true reformer.... His vision for that reform is what you see. More wealth for those who bribe him, less people working, more on the dole, more power and wealth for him. Btw, I understand you not liking a Bush admin. Minion, I feel the same about Clinton minions. Not all deserve our ire. Don't ask me which ones, I'd feed the whole Congress and Executive branch to sharks. | ||

First off, the few of us posting the political cartoons are more than willing to discuss the details with anyone who asks. There's very little asking going on these days, so very little real discussion. Kind of a sad state of our nation. Next, it takes a few seconds to take in a political cartoon. Very different from asking someone to watch a video for the better part of an hour to find it seems to be off topic and conspiracy based. Or expecting someone to read a long article with the same result. If you want someone to invest the time, give them a teaser of what you expect them to get out of it. Also, the amount of information that can be packed into a political cartoon can be pretty incredible. When you see some detail that you don't know why it's there, it's a good bet that there's information that you are lacking. It's amazing how sometimes I see something I don't really understand in a simple cartoon, but it gives me enough information to do some digging on my own. Next thing you know, I'm that much better informed. I know I go through that process. I can only hope that some others may too when they browse these cartoons. I understand the frustration of being bad on a keyboard, and spelling issues. I forced myself to learn to type. It's not exactly an exciting process. Spending years working in a technology that limited labels to six characters or less, while trying to make a unique, but understandable label didn't do my already questionable spelling skills any good. I've come to rely heavily on spell checkers. Technology is almost always a double edged sword. Here's the thing... What you are doing right now comes off as trollish. The reasons have been explained. The fact that it may not be your intention wont change how it's received. I would encourage you to struggle through improving your communication skills (typing, spelling, etc.). These skills will help you in many facets of your life. We all need to practice/polish these skills. These aren't skills that are ever perfected. Let me use Court for an example. I trust he won't take too much offense. He will at times post some fairly long posts. Often these posts are riddled with poor spelling and/or words that appear to have been improperly spell corrected into a completely inappropriate word for the context. Clearly, his communication skills are not up to par with some others, yet I really appreciate his posts because of the information that he does communicate. If you have something worthwhile to share, go for it. Most of don't pretend to be grade school grammar teachers. | ||

I would love to see Alan West run again. I don't know it that's in the cards. Of current potential candidates, Scott Walker has my attention. There's a lot to be learned on many issues with him yet. I want to know more about Carly Fiorina too. It's still very early in the process. | ||

West and Walker are for a smaller, more limited Federal government, that follows the Constitution as written. That's a pretty good place to start IMO. Rice? I have no idea. I'm not sure that she's ever really expressed much of a public policy opinion. I don't think she will ever run for public office. Anyone you like? | ||
