I was almost home today. Had been riding in Wisconsin. There traveling with a wing in front of me was a Uly. I miss blue, but deep down knew it was time to move on. Where is that AX? I was working hard to gain on them. I wrung all 12 horses out at one time, viciously thrusting into the head-wind. I knew the Uly driver would be the one to speak to me at the light. Always nice to meet a bueller. Then I turned off and went home. | ||

This morning on the national news they stated that the latest Chicago has experienced snow is June 2nd! Personally I think it was just a scare tactic. Like Matt, I have no qualms about riding in the snow. I've done it before, I just hope I don't need to do it on my summer vacation... 1313 | ||

Neil, I saw it and got to ride it, thanks to Matt (Loose1). A very well thought out .5 liter that never existed UNTIL Matt designed it. Matt is a cool guy, you would like him. If you can break away for Homecoming, he'll be here and so will that bike  | ||

Good to hear you may get over this way Neil. I can tell you there is quite a bit to do here from May 29th to June 1. Thursday, we'll meet in East Troy at the EBR factory. Have lunch at Gus's drive-in. In the evening, there may be another event planned, TBD at this point. Then a cozy time around the campfire down at Alpine. Friday Morning breakfast at our house in Waukesha, then hang out for a while in the garage, go for a ride in the Kettle Moraine. Dinner at Roma's in East Troy. Saturday and Sunday AMA Superbike/Sportbike/XR1200 racing at Road America. So many things to do around here. Lots of family things as well. | ||
