My ideal purchase scenario would be to fly to the Ferndale, Washington area. Go to Pacific Northwest Motorcycles, Buy my new EBR and ride it back to Ohio. If the stars lined up just right, I would have a stop in East Troy for Homecoming. waiting and hoping |

Wolf, I have a friend doing that right now in reverse, going from Mid-Ohio to Coos Bay, OR. He's in Jackson Hole, WY. On a scooter. 250 cc Honda Elite

I agree with the fly and ride idea. I'm not in the market for a superbike though. |

The plan is forming. Either next August I'll fly way out west to a dealer, buy my new EBR, then ride to Sturgis and hook up with a few friends. OR June of 2015 same idea, but ride all the way home. anyone else wanna play? |

They should also include a payment/fund for any fine obtained for speeding on the ride home from the purchase of any new EBR!! haha |

Court's ghost appearances suck IMO. He's been MIA for awhile now. Does that speak to confidence in EBR or the lack of? |

I see the one thing I always wished my bike had,not power, not bodywork mods but a huge practical addition to any bike.

Looks like a place to strap stuff to. I'd wager it's likely a place to slip the D-rings from your helmet on. Remove passenger seat, slip D-rings over whatever feature is there, pop passenger seat back on. Simple, easy (to use) and effective helmet lock. DEFINITELY a welcome feature! 1313 (Message edited by 1313 on July 27, 2013) |

Well the S1 and M2 sure didn't have a built in helmet lock, nor did my XB12STT. So if I can afford a new EBR bike I'll have to be happy with that, otherwise I've got to go to another manufacturer for an easy, practical place to secure my lid. |

Actually...your TT does have it. Blue toolbag, there's a 6" wire with a loop on each end. Pull your seat, there's a stud on the left side under the seat. Slip one loop over the stud. Thread cable through D ring. Slip other loop over stud. Reattach seat. EVERY XB had this feature. |

...and it was useless if your helmet didn't have D Rings... |

It worked fine if you looped the cable around the chin bar of the helmet. Or you can get one of these. They work well with either Nolan or Schuberth helmets.

Is EBR planning on doing a Cruiser version? You know - Forward controls, and maybe some baby apehangers? That would be SWEET! |

A cruiser? Well they've already developed a hybrid scooter for the India market, so I imagine that anything's possible although not likely, at least in the near future. |

Oh, that's what that cable was for (sold my TT) guess I should have actually read the owner's manual. Well, I suppose included accessories for locking up my lid fall into the "different in every sense" category. I guess I'm both thrilled that there's something available for general consumption, not just the wealthy... and that the standard type helmet lock has been incorporated.

So, October is when it is rumored that new models will be announced? I have been tempted by the idea of a Tuono V4... not sure how much longer I can hold out. I want to stay a Buell Hooligan... but there is something about that Italian Streetfighter that is calling to this ninja. |
