I wish the media could separate the "education and culture" gap from the "integrity and credibility" gap. I could care less if this young woman can read, write, speak clearly. I don't require murder witnesses to be blonde and skinny, and anyone who claims otherwise is a racist. Anyone who would tell the truth who witnessed events MUST be heard. But I do require witnesses to demonstrate some level of integrity and credibility. They must have enough respect for the rule of law to participate how and when it is necessary to do do. If they have none of that in their life, and are incapable of respect for the rule of law, then they have disqualified themselves. By doing so, they have taken away a key piece of evidence that could either convict someone who is guilty, or keep an innocent man free. They should be ashamed of themselves if thats the case, and they should blame themselves for it. |

I am just waiting for the riots to begin. This case shouldn't have ever gone to trial. http://beforeitsnews.com/opinion-conservative/2013 /07/zimmerman-prosecutor-indicted-for-allegely-fal sifying-arrest-warrant-and-complaint-2673900.html |

Interesting opin piece, I think that the doom sayers need to sit and watch quietly. I bet and hope that Zim walks, the states case is more and more tenuous all the time. If they had tried manslaughter VS MURDER then their case might be more sound. like many I believe that treyvonn brought this on himself by assaulting zimmerman this case shows both sides showing their A$$es. Its sad if treyvonn had shot zimmerman it would never have come to national notice, How many black on white assaults happen each day? where are sharpton and jackson? |

"http://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/07/03/zimmerman-sch ool-records-at-issue-in-wednesday-hearing" The prosecution contends that the lack of Zimmerman's DNA under Martin's fingernails indicates that Martin was not the aggressor. Um...aggressor DNA is typically found under the fingernails of the victim, not the other way around. So far, the prosecution is making the defense's case for them. Makes me wonder whether the DA's heart is in this. |

Read about the malfeasance of the prosecution in this article. Make no mistake: this trial is politically motivated by some of the most vile racists that infect our society. Soon the pendulum will swing back towards sanity and we can render these scumbags to the irrelevance that they deserve. WARNING: CUT-AND-PASTE AHEAD. STOP HERE IF YOU WISH TO NOT LEARN ANYTHING AND REMAIN IGNORANT.
quote:Normally, the prosecution is the natural ally of the police. Using their investigation — the facts — prosecutors are able to establish all of the elements of the offense and win a conviction. In the Zimmerman case, the prosecution must ignore, try to explain away, or try to construct reasonable doubt about the case of the police — a bizarre state of affairs. The Sanford Police Department conducted an unbiased and competent investigation, and the local prosecutor, Norm Wolfinger, declined to press charges because all of the evidence supported Zimmerman’s self-defense claim under Florida law, and none contradicted it. Prosecutor investigator Dale Gilbreath admitted this on April 20, 2012. However, that investigation and its results did not fit the narrative, and so Corey was tasked not with doing justice, but with charging and convicting Zimmerman regardless of the evidence. Corey’s office has never produced the slightest evidence proving that the Sanford Police failed in their duty or exhibited racial bias. That being the case, what are the grounds for charging Zimmerman with any crime?

The DA has been indicted. The question is, why is the case proceeding? I'd move for summary dismissal for prosecutorial misconduct. |

The prosecution contends that the lack of Zimmerman's DNA under Martin's fingernails indicates that Martin was not the aggressor. Um...aggressor DNA is typically found under the fingernails of the victim, not the other way around. Lack of DNA can tell you nothing except that you failed to find DNA. It's only when you FIND DNA that it has the potential of providing useful information. I've only seen small bits of the trial being broadcast, but I do remember the prosecution seeming to make a big deal of very small issues that for the life of me does nothing to point to Zimmerman's guilt. I guess when you are given a turd to polish, it's going to get pretty messy. I really hope that there is some avenue for him to sue for proprietorial misconduct in a civil court. He is a clearly innocent man who has been thrown in jail and forced to spend a fortune on having to prove his innocence. None of this should have ever happened. |

Q: How could martin get zimmermans skin under his nails if his fists were clenched? One witness states that Martin was pounding on zimmerman like a WWE "ground & pound" the facts that I have seen being brought out keep proving zimmerman was on the ground on his back and martin was on top of him, the wounds to zim's head prove that he was being struck. I read the charges against the prosecutor I took the piece to be an opinion piece. IF they are actually going to charge the lady with maleficence ( misdeeds? ) I too am wondering, IMO the push for this came from WASHINGTON DC "he would look like my son" not instructions but a desire to see "justice done" I know of a local case where a good man was railroaded on very tenuous evidence he lost it all, and his business and reputatuation were ruined, Not all "Public Servants" are in office to serve some are there for their own gain. this prosecution smells of it. |

What I think about it would not be suitable for this or any other forum. They blew money on that, and I get to stay home this Friday (and every other one through September) with no pay because they can't find enough $$ to pay the people who work for the DoD. |

They have plenty of money. They were blowing 10-something a gallon on bio fuel for navy ships. No one spends that kind of money on fuel when they are short on cash. |

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton commented, “These documents detail the extraordinary intervention by the Justice Department in the pressure campaign leading to the prosecution of George Zimmerman. My guess is that most Americans would rightly object to taxpayers paying government employees to help organize racially-charged demonstrations.” Bingo. |

well the news is unbelievable today. can't make 2nd murder stick, but they can convict him of the lesser charge of manslaughter? Wait what about SELF DEFENSE? Zimmerman has had his life ruined, spent time in jail, AND racked up huge legal expenses, It seems that the prosecution at best has a weak case [ no case ] Not to mention all of the irregularities related to the states prosecution efforts including possible incitements against the prosecutor for her actions in the case. I can see the lesser charge if they plea bargained, but the state has failed to prove 2nd degree murder, so they want to be able charge him with a lesser offense? could this be a form of "double jeopardy?" We find out DOJ may have been involved in some "organizing" I hope that Zimmerman is acquitted, and walks, he freely admits shooting Martin, and has been truthful, The state failed to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Zimmerman intended to kill Martin or that he was "profiling" him. Oh wait the left wants it to be against the law to defend your property or your person. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/07/11/closing-argum ents-to-begin-in-zimmerman-trial/ |

Even worse... http://edition.cnn.com/2013/07/10/justice/sanford- bill-lee-exclusive/index.html
quote:"It was (relayed) to me that they just wanted an arrest. They didn't care if it got dismissed later," he said. "You don't do that."
What was obvious is now on the record. Zimmerman has been railroaded into an unjust trial for political purposes. None of this should have happened! |

In the eleventh hour via a snippet embedded in an email, the judge has allowed that the jury can consider third degree felony murder with child abuse. Huh????? The judge did this after the Defense rested their case. This was never charged nor argued. The defense has been blind sided by what now appears to be a biased judge. This case will be overturned in the event of a guilty verdict and the judge will be admonished. She should be removed from the bench because of her prejudiced behavior. Welcome to Obama's Amerika. Sieg Heil, mein Fuehrer. |

All along, I've been watching a bunch of decisions made by the judge in this case thinking that she is being biased. At first I thought it might just be my personal bias. I've come to believe that it's not me, it's the judge. It's really scary to see a modern day lynching going on using the legal system like this. I don't recognize this as the country that I grew up in. |

Well, as absurd and infuriating as this is, hopefully the jury see through. Self defense is self defense and he should be acquited of all charges ... even Manslaughter. (Message edited by macbuell on July 11, 2013) |
