1000hrs later, So much hand fab. used the Duc. rear upper plastic for a practical solution to a complex problem. Sub-frame and a lot of the plastics and seats were hand made. The Buell-Ducati junction was the hardest part to make look right. About a million other changes you can't see. I built the rear shock out of a stocker and scrap ohlins parts. Any question about details, call! 262-470-5300

It doesn't look quite right on a Buell. Now 1190RS tail...that'd be sweet.

Cool, I'm guessing the battery is lying down in the tail, but I imagine you could put one of those little, high zoot batteries anywhere, like maybe the airbox?

I think a 999 race tail would have looked good

The 999 tail has a gaping hole in it were the big flat can was. this pic should help. B.T.W, the tail does way more then just hold the battery I made. I said in the original-post there were a ton of things done you cannot see. This was kinda a applied technology exercise from many other cutting edge industries that just happened to look O.K when done. B-T-W. 50 lbs less then stock is conservative.

You shaved off 50 lbs.? That in and of itself is amazing, and you made it look good to boot. Great job.

I like the rear brake setup on this one. Don't like the headlight, looks like on a hard stop it would touch/hit the tire.

The yellow one is ok as well, I like the seat rails.

This was not a styling exercise. But a technology test platform. O.C.C makes pretty bikes...Sorry made bikes. This is all hand made, not a transfer of top-shelf parts from other bikes. Those are some awesome rides, Thanks for the photos Dean!

B.T .W....Why do people constantly replace stators when you don't need them? It is odd to used 100yr old technology in a 2013 "cutting-Edge" bike. Let your mind run with that thought and you will begin to understand what is under this skin....
